I am new to the world of painting, but I sincerely enjoy it so much. My question it this, I am working with Acrylics and it does not take long before it becomes difficult or muddy to work with. How is Oils different? Is it more expensive to purchase the oils and can anyone tell me more about how long it would take for a Oil Painting to dry? Your paintings are lovely but I never seen a peony look like that they look more like poppies, peony buds are round almost flattish looking I have old fashioned ponies .
