As a beginner, I really appreciate this. All you hear is angle and water flow. I bought one and some Washington Beach mat. I'm in Washington State and I hunt around at the local beaches. Wish me luck!
Well good luck and I hope your pans are full of gold
You are the only one to explain the set up of a clean up sluice. Great information I am definitely getting it. Just bought the infinity vdr Devon mini sluice. Battery and pump and this is all I need left. Thank you for showing this.

Wow !!!!!
Have your controller works great. Currently hooked up blue bowl with silicone black mat processing Cape Disappointment beach sand. I am seeing 2-300 mesh specks sticking and and staying in place. Dialing in water flow is key.
Yes it is key, thanks for the purchase and thank you for watching
Its funny how I have a bilge pump in my boat to save my life but I have a better pump on my multi sluice thats protected with a screen and gets cleaned, dried, and sleeps inside 👍! Thanks for the educating entertainment.......great re at delivery🤝

@@washingtonbeachmining7736 Thanks, I received my bilge pump speed controller today. I have not had a real chance to use it yet but I will. Thanks Del Cox
@@DelsWoodTurning once you start putting into use I think you appreciate it thanks again
I want one 💥🤠👍
i agree with most you say, but do you own an amp probe? I challenge you to put an amp probe on a pump and slowly shut in the discharge and watch the amp probe. A single impellar pump without a checkvalve can not be damaged by quite a bit of back pressure, but slowing a pump can burn out a motor eventually. however i still want one lol
A lot of people seem to use lead acid batteries to run their highbankers, but lead acid batteries are heavy and honestly dont really like to be run down very low. Have you used LiFePO batteries at all with highbankers? If so, how was the experience using them?
Additionally, it would be interesting to see a device like this that had a built in switch that would cut the pump if the battery's voltage got too low. Low voltages can harm batteries and pumps. But i wonder if that would increase this products cost a fair bit. Just because its a feature i see a use for, doesnt mean other customers would necessarily think the price justifies the feature.
I really like that this has a fuse in it.
I love my speed controller
Thanks Richard, had a great time meeting you out there on the field finding some of that shiny
It was a great pleasure to meet you as well.
Something.,I'm gonna need eventually..I'm Building my system slowly..
Well when you are ready, I be happy to help. Good luck on your new setup
Please excuse my ignorance, I know nothing about electronics. But I was wondering if it was possible to use an off the shelf potentiometer?
You sure can it works as the same thing
Do I need extra wires and clips for different pumps?
Nope, one controller works with all pumps
How much was that gold you received for becoming a lifetime member. And was it real. Worth?
Can I use them for a chiseled water wall, 7 feet high 3 feet wide, 2 hours a day running?
How much life can I expect? My water is not salty and is drinkable. Please tell.
I think it would work just fine for your application
@@washingtonbeachmining7736 thanks
Can I bypass the battery and hook it up to my 12 volt charger? Thanks
Yes you can that would also work to
Can you use a 12 volt car battery with it?
Yes, you can use any 12 volt battery
@@washingtonbeachmining7736 Whist's a good 1100gph or higher pump to get. Thanks
@@justa.seeker4558 I recommend Seaflo pumps. They come in a orange and black color. The fakes on the market that say Seaflo come in red and blue. Stick with the original's, they last longer.
@@washingtonbeachmining7736 Great. I ordered a controller last knight.
@@justa.seeker4558 well great thanks for the purchase I dropped it off at the post office you should see it here soon
Is there a fuse in your setup?
Yes there is
Thank you sir. Built in to the speed selector, correct?
@@aaronrinella2835 yes
How much do they cost? And I live in Tacoma can I pick it up somewhere?
Nevermind lol I had to rewatch the end of your video 😆
@@chrisneville6810 No Problem

@@chrisneville6810 Got it, I will get it out to the post office tomorrow, Thank you
Thanks again I appreciate you 👍✌🍻
Never have watched ya.....but your thumb nail kinda made me laugh. So, let’s give it a try.
I wonder if you are running this at home if you could connect a toy train dc converter switch to run a dc pump. Just plug it in and go and adjust. Would have to do some pressure testing and math to understand how it would work......my brain is turning now. I’m just being a cobble guy. I don’t gold prospect.....just a handy person and it got my brain thinking.
Looks like a good, solid way to control gph from a pump. Not being a jerk......just thinking. Decreasing water flow does not only create back pressure it also creates a higher velocity after the choke point. Lower gpm with a higher velocity. So......less water with a higher velocity. I’ve dealt with this hiring plumbers that would install large hot water heaters, 100 gal plus, servicing hair salons. The manufacturer and plumbing supply house would swear by it, but the inch supply was restricted to a 3/4 hidden dip tube. Increasing the velocity of water while decreasing the GPM. I’m just babbling.
Good vid mate. Have a good day!
I appropriate you large comment.
Which is easier? breathing normal or breathing thru a straw?
For us gold prospectors to find the right volume and water to match our angles of the sluice without blowing out the heavy's. Lights can move on out but the heavy's i am after. When you are too choose from angle to water flow volume i want both the worlds. I like that i can keep my my sluice flat as possible and adjust the water flow to keep the light material jumping around and moving on out and to keep the heavy's down under in the sluice mat. I do not want to lose the precious metal. So now it is easier to control both the physics of a nature. Just Saying!!!
Forget about using a battery why don't you just use a ram pump instead
