    When I first met Trevor, my gut told me: this guy's passion for manufacturing burns like fire. Today, I learned just how accurate my feeling was!

    I learn so much more when the information is in the context of a story. You guys are great story tellers!
    The same could be said in engineering classes, when it's taught in the context of history and the story of the discovery, the information stays.
    Thanks for keeping the art in manufacturing alive!
    God bless

    Hello, my names Ty Eakins and in 19 years old and I recently got my own VF2ss with the sole purpose to going out and find jobs to start a job shop devision in order to pay my wages so I can work at the family business with my father. A matter a fact I am currently working to finish up my first outsourcing job for a local company.
    I mention this because watching your videos and your podcast has been a big contributor to me working long hours and on the weekends in order to do everything I can to stack the odds in my favor of me being able to make it work for not just me but my father sake as well. I wish I could say this personally and not just in the comments but just want to say thank you guys for everything you’re doing for the industry, thank you for the inspiration to go out and try everything I can to make it work for my father, and may God Bless you all.

    Trevor should write books with the way he describes things 😂 great episode, starting to get coworkers into this show. It’s always great to see how everyone started into this industry.

    I love this long form podcast. Takes me an hour to get to and from my machining job. Far better then whatever political garbage I’d distract myself with normally.

    I started in a high production shop, learned a lot there. Once I went to a mold shop is when I really learned a lot more about technicality and how being .001 off can translate into the finished product. Every part deserved more attention because usually you get one chance to get it right.

    "I don't even have an office"
    What? 🤯
    Please explain.

    • @trevorgoforth8963
      @trevorgoforth8963 8 місяців тому

      He told me I’d have an office and I pictured a 10ft x 10ft room like a normal office, then he put me in a 50x20 foot room. So then I was confused because it’s the biggest office I’ve ever seen haha it’s more like a lab lol turns out, that’s what he meant by “office” 😆

      @@trevorgoforth8963 So cool. It shows how much he appreciates you. Obviously, the room has a lot of toys and not just a hand carved teak desk.
      "hand carved" 😱😱😱 I'm sorry, ...that just slipped out. 😁
      Great content in all of these podcasts, this one especially so.
