Thanks for watching and the feedback. Wouldve been nice to fill the freezer but makes them keen to get back out again! It's always good to get out and enjoy the outdoors.

    Nicely put together video.
I saw it was your first time after Sambar and id like to offer a friendly tip.... get those morning hunts started much earlier, good deer, especially those pressured on fringe country will be deep up those gullies as soon as the sun is up, you need to be in the bush before first light.
Reverse applies to evening hunts, the last few minutes of shootable light is the magic hour for Sambar.

Great little video and a magic part of Vic 👍 I'm lucky to have hunted and fished all that for many years and now live in the next river valley over. Drop a line in that little creek when trout season is open and you will probably get fish for dinner. Maybe next time you'll get the double of Sambar and trout

Fair enough. Tip for next time. I live off grid on property in the high country and dead branches or twigs still on trees even after heeps of rain you will find are still dry.....top spot they found

Sambar was what they were chasing, the fallow bad been taken a few weeks before. It was their first time after Sambar. Was a pleasure to edit and nice to see the countryside!

Thanks. This was private property mostly that backed onto state forest where you are allowed to hunt.
