Totally agree. People around him including kao just loved to dismiss him due to his quick temper. Everyone literally invalidated his feelings post breakup and sided with kao. Pete gets angry fast but he def sees through people and is def a better judge of character than kao.
Kao got molested and groped and he has no one to share the pain with and is surely a psychological trauma which is everlasting until addressed. I am a mother of a son like Kao and it really makes me so sad to find out very late that my son is so unhappy with his life and cannot tell me openly about his gender preference because he was afraid that I would be disappointed with him. My love for my son is so strong that I don't care about his gender preference, I will accept him no matter what. I can relate to Kao's mother. I cried a lot on the mother-son scene because I remember when my son open-up to me and we both cried a lot.
Thank you for being supportive with your son, I've also been blessed with my parents that have been supportive with my sexual preferences. Bravo to you.

I'm a parent and I am slowly learning how to be more like a parent like Kao's mum, though my child isn't a son, I truly hope she will get loved like I have loved her and whoever she loves, I will love them as my own as well.

PeteKao’s relationship runs the full range of emotions from cute to sexy to sweet to sad to angry...it is what the world needs to see...please continue to cast them and don’t sideline them as this series is so already so short! I feel that Sunmork can have their own series but PeteKao’s story is realistic and moving enough to be continued 🙏
It always makes me sad that when the gay characters come out to their parents, they always apologize for being gay. But I'm happy that many of the parent characters tell their child that they should never be sorry for being gay. Sure, it's idealistic since there's still so much discrimination against gays, but I hope that the message of being gay isn't wrong would spread continuously and constantly will get through to people.
This is the reason why I envy other gay men who have very supportive parents. Me, being gay, is something that my parents cannot accept until now. They are more on the "what will happen to us if other people will know?" side than what their children will feel.

It's so ridiculous that Kao isn't defending himself but reacts like a baby instead which makes him look guilty. It's very simple, Kao, you start with "Your son's friend called me because he was drunk at a bar and the friend was too scared to get you involved. Since I'm a good person, I helped get him home but then he started carrying on how much he liked me and then attacked me."
Kao could have just said it right then and there that Non’s friend called him because they went to a bar and he got drunk. Idk why it was so hard to say. He could’ve spoken up at that moment instead of repeatedly saying that he didn’t do anything.

i get it. But here are things to consider. That little shit did a good acting job. Pete is hot tempered. Kao is too nice and that little manipulating son of a ....manipulated things to his favor holding Kaos mothers job and his fathers position in his hands. Kao shouldn't have lied, sure. But Pee also should have understood Kao's position. "I hate him, i hate that you tutor him. I hate that he has this much power over you. But if it has to be this way, then whenever you tutor him, I'm there drinking coffee at the next table. IF he calls you to pick him up cause he's drunk, I'm driving the car."
Kao and his mom's talk, that was such a great moment. Kao's attempted message to Pete trying to tell him he missed him was too sad. Kao is a great guy BUT his character is too passive and nice at times. He should've been honest with Pete, he should've shut Non down early on and none of this would've happened.Mork grew so much as the series progressed and Rain gave his brother such great advice. I want to drop kick Non off a building, he's such a horrible character with no redeeming qualities that I can see. I mean sure, his dad's an ass, but he could make better choices, he's not stupid just entitled.
I always thought why was the intro so wierd, like everyone breaking up, now i understand what it means. Btw, Kao's mom and Pete's dad deserves an AWARD for best parents. Not many parents are understanding (specially dads).

His excuse would have still remained as "Non is a kid" because this is a man who cares about appearances more than anything, so he will continue to blame everyone else just so he can save his own face. I mean come on, do you really think he'll go around saying "my son got drunk and attacked someone!"? No! When he walked in, Kao was on top. Saying Non was drunk (which he wasn't, he was faking it) would just make it look like a grown man took advantage of his poor son when he was drunk and vulnerable. That would have made things worse, not better.
Yes, it would have mattered specially if you are being accused of being a child molestor in real life. This episode means so much to me. I remember coming out to my mom almost the same way. And i only felt her acceptance and pure love without any judgement. This scene b/w Kao & his mom, so heartfelt, so beautiful, so touching. I agree that the lead parents are shown as ideal parents here. HOWEVER, I believe parents should be open about the topic of sexual orientation from the beginning so that the children doesn't torture themselves constantly just thinking whether they can open up to their parents or not. It eats you up literally like it did to KAO. Create a safe passage or environment at home to begin with for your kids.

I'm really a bit confused, why Kao didn't say anything about the call and the drunk Non. If someone accused me to almost sexualy assault a younger Kid, why the hell would I only say... no i didn't. It always makes me sad that when the gay characters come out to their parents, they always apologize for being gay. But I'm happy that many of the parent characters tell their child that they should never be sorry for being gay. Sure, it's idealistic since there's still so much discrimination against gays, but I hope that the message of being gay isn't wrong would spread continuously and constantly will get through to people.

Kao and his mom's talk, that was such a great moment. Kao's attempted message to Pete trying to tell him he missed him was too sad. Kao is a great guy BUT his character is too passive and nice at times. He should've been honest with Pete, he should've shut Non down early on and none of this would've happened.Mork grew so much as the series progressed and Rain gave his brother such great advice. I want to drop kick Non off a building, he's such a horrible character with no redeeming qualities that I can see. I mean sure, his dad's an ass, but he could make better choices, he's not stupid just entitled.

When he walked in, Kao was on top. Saying Non was drunk (which he wasn't, he was faking it) would just make it look like a grown man took advantage of his poor son when he was drunk and vulnerable. That would have made things worse, not better.
