WVU Energy Express: Episode 504

In this installment of WVU Energy Express, we're taking you on a fascinating journey into the wild habitats of West Virginia.
We'll start by exploring the homes of our state fish, the brook trout, with the help of our friends Sheldon, Cory and Emilee. We'll learn about the unique characteristics of brook trout, their habitats and the vital research being done to preserve them in our streams.
Next, we're heading right back out into the forest to meet up with our friends Sheldon and Dave as they uncover the hidden world within fallen logs. Discover how these decaying logs create microhabitats for various creatures, including salamanders, rodents and insects.
Then, it's time to get up and moving with our friend Molly who will lead us through one of our "Wonderland Workouts!" Today's exercises are inspired by Little Red Riding Hood.
We can't end our day without a trip to the kitchen! Today, Molly is whipping up a delicious, refreshing watermelon slushy.
