    Lots of things are imported from China. There must be a real security threat. This holds true for not only Australia, US, all western countries. In fact, 80% of the world are saturated with Chinese imports.
    This ranges from cars to motorcycles, to trucks, to ships, to shipping containers, to bicycles, to phones, even your Samsung phone is made in China, even your Apple or iPhone is made in China. Teslas are also made in China. Even sports goods, racquets or shoes, clothes.
    So everything from China is a security risk because they insert nano cameras, and spy on everything.
    Even the toilet papers in the White House, and all the surrounding streets of the White House, the toilet papers are made from China. And contains nano cameras, and can spy on Joe Biden’s (you know where). And it can spy on all the politicians’ (you know where), and that also holds true in the Australian parliament.

    • @daleviker5884
      @daleviker5884 Місяць тому

      EV sales are fading away anyway. People have realised that there's no second hand market for expensive batteries, so the depreciation on EVs is massive. With the fanboys and virtue-signalers market already exhausted, it's only government fleets that are still buying EVs, because they are required to. In the 8 months to August 2024, government fleet buying is up 37% on last year (no recession in government) yet EV sales are only up 7.5% overall. Do the maths, and outside of taxpayer money being wasted, EVs are going the way of the dodo.

    Okay lets look at thing in a different approach, If we are to ban Chinese EV's and that is all EV's made in China. How long is the list, Tesla, Volvo VW, Lexus, MG, and the list does keep going.
    At present I am getting rid of my Volvo C40 twin and getting a Xpeng G6, because at least the KM as per Spec if very close what it states and everything in it is not an optional extra it comes standard in the car. Now Volvo C40 claims up to 500KM range but I can't even get 390 km @100% charge. The G6 states 570KM so do the math's and the G6 is $30K cheaper than the Volvo.

I understand the environmental benefits of electric cars, but the everyday citizen has no knowledge of how technology can be used against them how easily we can be monitored tracked how many parts of everyday life can be accessed manipulated it's frightening sounds to me like we should be less eager and more weary about where and what technology is being handed out for public use as safe
