Okay lets look at thing in a different approach, If we are to ban Chinese EV's and that is all EV's made in China. How long is the list, Tesla, Volvo VW, Lexus, MG, and the list does keep going. At present I am getting rid of my Volvo C40 twin and getting a Xpeng G6, because at least the KM as per Spec if very close what it states and everything in it is not an optional extra it comes standard in the car. Now Volvo C40 claims up to 500KM range but I can't even get 390 km @100% charge. The G6 states 570KM so do the math's and the G6 is $30K cheaper than the Volvo.

I personally find the rate at which we are incorporating technology into our cars and homes concerning. I understand the environmental benefits of electric cars, but the everyday citizen has no knowledge of how technology can be used against them how easily we can be monitored tracked how many parts of everyday life can be accessed manipulated it's frightening sounds to me like we should be less eager and more weary about where and what technology is being handed out for public use as safe

Okay lets look at thing in a different approach, If we are to ban Chinese EV's and that is all EV's made in China. How long is the list, Tesla, Volvo VW, Lexus, MG, and the list does keep going.
At present I am getting rid of my Volvo C40 twin and getting a Xpeng G6, because at least the KM as per Spec if very close what it states and everything in it is not an optional extra it comes standard in the car. Now Volvo C40 claims up to 500KM range but I can't even get 390 km @100% charge. The G6 states 570KM so do the math's and the G6 is $30K cheaper than the Volvo.

I personally find the rate at which we are incorporating technology into our cars and homes concerning. I understand the environmental benefits of electric cars, but the everyday citizen has no knowledge of how technology can be used against them how easily we can be monitored tracked how many parts of everyday life can be accessed manipulated it's frightening sounds to me like we should be less eager and more weary about where and what technology is being handed out for public use as safe
