The first gladiator is one of my favourite movies off all time so this has a lot to live up too. Fight scenes are very dramatic I do love Paul mascal but not sure about him being a gladiator. Love Washington.
I have had the misfortune of seeing Napoleon and Gladiator this year and being thoroughly disappointed by both films. Agree that Denzel was the best thing about the film. I am old enough to have seen I Claudius with Derek Jacobi ,how the mighty have fallen. Spartacus was badly superior with a proper script.

The film looked amazing and fight sequences where great, but the storyline and script was just weak. I wasn’t convinced by Paul mescal
