It's so bad when you have a serious MUA do such a horrible look than when you have someone who isn't taking themselves seriously and having a little fun, maybe deliberately doing something artistic or editorial and having it turn out a bit odd.

I will say as a fellow working MUA, the quality of the makeup application isn't anything groundbreaking but what she 100% delivered on was her customer service and how safe she makes you feel in the chair! Which explains why you are so happy because the level of safety, warmth and trust she has built with you!

The biggest difference I noticed between her and all of the 1 star MUAs, is how *little* she had to do to have such an amazing result. It looked like she barely touched you with the makeup for the eyebrows and blush, but they turned out phenomenal!

Agree I also felt like she had a plan and not only knew what she was doing but was not surprised by any product or colors. Professional and skilled that’s why it looked so easy.
I started watching for the worst makeup artists but honestly now that I've been watching for a while i think i prefer watching you have good experiences. I like seeing how good makeup artists work, and i like seeing you enjoy yourself rather than getting tortured
The mua is really kind and gentle, I really enjoyed listening her and explaining the process, but honestly the final makeup look wasn't it, it looked a little cheap, if I didn't know that was Gucci, I would have thought that it's another bad makeup video because of all that bright and unblended colors on the eyes in combination with shiny pink lipstick. Sometimes the less is more, but Judy looks beautiful no matter what💕
Purple and pink definitely the colors I used in high school. Welcome to the 80s. Pick up your scrunch socks and leg warmers at the door. Very well done.

Yesss! Color was everything! I remember my tween years-Even jeans started coming over-dyed in pinks and blues, and earrings were brightly colored and (gasp!) we matched our makeup to our clothes and shoes, accessories, and even socks!!! Don’t believe us? Watch “16 candles”, or other 80’s movies!!

To be honest, I don't like this makeup at all. The eyebrows are artificial, heavy and exaggerated... Eye and lip makeup don't match. If it was me who got such makeup, I would be very disappointed. Only the skin and the blush on the cheeks are wonderful here

So I'm gonna be straight up, yes this makeup look is pretty but there have been alot of low rated ones you have been too that literally did the same thing and I just think it's funny how you go to a higher up one and all of a sudden everyone loves it and I don't really agree with that. The only thing I will say is different is she got the foundation shade better then any other ones you have been too but that eyeshadow and lip color is literally the same color that alot of the lower rated ones have done.
Love the return of colour. You're rocking it too. MUAs love to put colour on you but never in a good way like this! ❤

The eye make up is so indescribable, it did so well, I totally love it. And MUA, I can say she's a very good artist, not just a mua, but on the other way around too. Also, her vibe is very welcoming, too good to be true I'd say👏🏻

I honestly love the look. It’s 80s and meant to be bold. It’s not everyday that we see a look like this on a normal person rather than a model for a show. It’s gorgeous and intentional! ❤

Thing is a lot of luxury brand makeup like Gucci isn’t actually good lol it’s just pricey you can spend a more average price like Mac for example and get better quality urban decay benefit tarte all of those have more variety and better application

She’s definitely there to sell products, the eye shadow is not giving what it was supposed to the blend is not there, the lip is too dramatic & brows are not it 🥴 I’ve definitely seen this similar look when rating worst MUA but she is very sweet and professional at selling the product and ofc it’s associated with Gucci 😒

I thought exactly the same, but I was afraid to write a comment about it because ppl might attack me for not liking it lol Eyeshadow is the worst part for me, there is no blending fr.
Tbh I find blending is overrated. It is just the current trend for eyeshadow. I also keep my eyeshadow rather sharp and a bit graphic, not because I forget to blend, but because it looks more edgy. The same with bright colors. Just because all this nude, brown, rosy stuff is trendy, does not mean that colorful is generally cheap or unprofessional. Probably it is just a matter of taste. Please keep that in mind.

If this was done in a different place and she didn't said it was gucci, all would have said the truth:it's no different than all the shady places she goes.
But u see gucci and u think it's ok...It's not! This just proves how biased people are when it comes to brands.
This look is maybe not for you, but the technique and hygiene is soooo different from the "normal" places
Exactly!, I mean, the skin looks really nice, and the colors are beautiful, but overall the makeup looks unfinished, I get the “80’s” style, but the eyeshadow isnt even blended, it looks patchy

In the recommended just below this very video was another of Judy's videos for a very similar look. I will say that the lady here did a better job with the face and blush and a slightly better job with eyes and make-up...but the difference in results for eyes and make-up frankly isn't that big. It's just that in this (promotional?) video the lighting is good, the music is inspiring, Judy has her hair done and she's smiling AND she did let the MUA apply liner and mascara, which are a must especially for these kinds of colorful looks. So yeah, it's easy to make something look good or bad depending on other things and not just the actual results the MUA would have achieved.
That said, there is very often no comparison in the hygiene and application smoothness of the "bad" MUA-s and that is a very important point. Also, the videos she generally does are lighthearted and fun, so I'm ok with it. It just so happened that I didn't see much difference (apart from things exterior to the make-up like lighting, music, letting the MUA finish the process, good hair, good attitude)in the results of this extremely possitive video and the pretty negative video just under this one. At this point the discrepancy becomes visible and I kinda feel bad (but not really) for the MUA-s who didn't get this exterior help for their results.
Anyway, I'm glad Judy is having fun and gets to enjoy stuff every now and then :))

I think the lipstick should've been nude or neutral since the eyes are very colorful. It just feels oversaturated.

Maybe it's just me, but I don't understand the eyeliner wing. It's much smaller than the rest of the eyeliner, and it's round when her eyes are open, not at all connecting to the lower lash line. Everything else is both done very professionally and still has a unique touch to it with the retro topic and all.
