With vaccines having such a rocky start, I've continued to wonder about advancements in mask technology. Seems like something we could do in the meantime is improve on their shortcomings as far as filtration, ergonomics, and general levels of acceptance.
I'm not really sure what you mean (it's a bit of a drive by comment with no elaboration), but I'll try to bridge the clarification part: No, actually it's more of an engineering type curiosity. With mass production of N-95 and N-100 having been a problem this time last year (and after a year of smoke testing our short term solutions), wonder if anyone's on the forefront of making better masks? The pandemic represents more of a forced priority to innovate if we look at what seems to work and what doesn't.

So much nonsense. Viruses are not a cause of illness. They are excretions from cells. They serve to break down toxins. Causes of illness are poisons, toxins, depleted bodily terrain from malnutrition, trauma, environmental insults such as radiation, emf. And that's it.
Don't they isolate travellers coming home?

@@markusmaximus6636 In other words, the opinion of an outlier in the scientific world. Science doesn't work in terms of absolutes. It is dependent on consensus and is always open to review. You will always be able to find (sometimes highly qualified) individuals whose opinions flow against the tide. Prof Delores Cahill is one of those few outliers, one of less than one percent of professional opinion. The important point that goes straight over your head is that the other 99% plus disagree with her. Ask yourself why her opinion is not important to the scientific world but is important to you. If you are honest you are likely to find your answer somewhere around your processing of the fact that you don’t like being told what to do, whether lockdown or wearing a mask. If you dig a little deeper you may also uncover a profound sense of personal shame at your own failure as a human being, which is why you have to tell yourself that you are in possession of information that few people are aware of and by spreading the word you are doing something important. In fact, you just look like the fool that you are.

With vaccines having such a rocky start, I've continued to wonder about advancements in mask technology. Seems like something we could do in the meantime is improve on their shortcomings as far as filtration, ergonomics, and general levels of acceptance.
"Seems like" FUD to me (on your part)
I have heard that face masks can cause bacterial pneumonia. But perhaps that's just fake news.
You can not buy a N95 mask in canada
I'm not really sure what you mean (it's a bit of a drive by comment with no elaboration), but I'll try to bridge the clarification part: No, actually it's more of an engineering type curiosity. With mass production of N-95 and N-100 having been a problem this time last year (and after a year of smoke testing our short term solutions), wonder if anyone's on the forefront of making better masks? The pandemic represents more of a forced priority to innovate if we look at what seems to work and what doesn't.
Please put as many face masks as possible on , make sure to cover entire face and dont come outside until told to do so........................................

Meanwhile I got the virus on 30th october (vitamin D is not virusfirewall...)a and resumed my activities 12 days later (major ageusia & anosmia lasting 90 days, cough ,fatigue came afterwards ) my father 91 years old got it on 10th of december in the seniors community and died on Boxing Day , the cremation was on Sylvesterday
2020 was an annus horribilis in which I not only lost ,my father but also, more than 5 beloved collegues younger than myself from Covid and suicides as collateral damage
I do love follow your daily highlights and admire your brilliant insights and educational skills, I myself became a true field expert with experience with my on patients since the early day in February 2020 on the Covidwarfront
The reason why I adress me to you ( and your followers) is about the vaccination after recovering of Covid :
two collegues with major Covid(one in the first the other in the second wave) got the first jab an developed flu-like symptoms during 3 days (this confirms the cyphers you have given to day)
I myself have a sufficient humoral immunity and a good vitamin D level to take the risk to wait till september before my first jab
I do not fear the variants of Covid , but tells my patients a metaphore :
Corona is like a bestseller book : ONCE THE FIRST EDITION IS EXHAUSTED a second ,third and numerous editions are printed ,all with the same content but with newer printing defects or rectifications to replace the collectors item( first edition)
Once reading the book or in analogy being ,infected by the virus , the body reads the whole virus (every chapter of the book) and makes antybodies to the various parts of the intruder
The vaccin makes antybodies against one chapter ,but the most crucial chapter ,
I take the option to advice my recovered sympotomatic patients from Covid , to wait for the end of this year to have the first jab , I am for this point not on the same lenght of the decisionmakers in Belgium but I take responsability for my point of vue
We need in my country a REACT 2 study or even do systematicaly an antibodysurvay to know exactly the level of herdimmunity
I hope ,Dear Professor Campbell , that you can stay save till you have your first jab and that the world can enjoy your kindness
Best Regards
Miguel D
We’ve been forced to behave in Northeastern US, we have been getting massive snow storms almost every other day..
I was thinking that actually, it's a naturally imposed lockdown, but when things clear up you might see big spikes.

Nearly a million so well deserved xx❤️🤪
I received the second dose of Moderna yesterday. Except for mild soreness in my arm, I had no side effects. I live in a large retirement community in Florida.
How was your first dose? I had my first dose on Saturday . No side effects at all. Was lazy that day but hard to know if it was connected.
Isn't that where paradise is so we are told?
We need more smiling and caring people like you in the states, you are AWESOME!!!! I love hearing from you everyday! Keep safe and well.
Wow, it's snowing.
I've heard legends about snow here in Australia
"Snowy Mountains"?
Have the Drop Bears come out of their dens yet?
@@johmyh14 they have, one fell on my neighbours head the other day.

Thank you John on your info I do like to hear all the facts and figures ! It makes my blood boil when I see all these sports going on , complete disregard for all the hard work that’s going on to stop the virus ,and why the need to hug one another (Football) especially now, I just don’t get it ! I think it’s a question of “it won’t happen to me syndrome “ . Really appreciate your time . Thank you.
