Wow... for a first freehand, that is impressive. Massive credit to Emil for sticking it out and finishing it. With Lukas' freehand skill, it would've been so easy to just let him do it, and save a bunch of time. I'm sure Emil thought about it at least a couple of times while painting it.
I really think Lucas should have did a Tyranid 'Kraken' trying to snatch up a space cruiser. I know it's kinda nitpicking the lore but how many people in the 40k universe knows what a Saint boat is? Have seen one? Know of any legendary ships names and stories? Either way, Lucas did a really good job
@@nofuxgivens2797 I don’t agree. The days of old wooden ships are gone but we still feature them heavily in our art, media and mythology. I think it’s perfectly reasonable for people far in the future to still be aware of them!
Few additions you could add to the diorama: The loyalist titan could have barnicles due its employment under water, The Chaos titan could be leaking oil into the ocean around it, as chaos corrupts whatever its near; similar to the likes of an oil barge spill maybe? anyways; keep up the great work!
I feel like this really shows what kind of determination it takes to get to both of yours' skill level. Both free hands look amazing because you didn't fold in and let Lukas do all three pieces.
That's an insane first freehand!! well done these warlord titans are going to be sick.. Also Lucas your freehands were amazing as always, but that eye, with the one on the boat.. thats just something special
i know you guys are moving more toward these grand scale projects now but i would still really like to see you guys paint up that retro 40k ork army at some point.
I'm now imagining Traitor and Loyalist Knight Houses having Custom Titan Shows; where they show off their sweet, sweet rides and compete for best in show. Now Squidmar and Emil just need to paint up the rest of the Titans' panels to the same level 😄😄😄👍
A most Epic paint for Titanic builds!! You have both exceeded expectations here!! Masterfully done Gentlemen! And on such small canvases too! Team Squimar have and will always continue to excite and exceed with each and every project! I Thank You all for sharing with Us here on the tube and look forward to more in the future!! Thank all People of Squidmar! Later
Props to you both, these look amazing. A bit disappointed however that you didnt credit the original artists for the pieces you used as inspiration. I'm sure they'd appreciate it
I just started painting miniatures and there’s a learning curve. You guys definitely are leagues ahead lmao I have however, been free hand drawing anime since I was a little kid, so what you’re currently doing would be easier for me. Even blending with copic markers is just not the same as painting minis lmao it’s hard man. But keep free handing! It’s awesome.
Takes a lot of guts to attack something like that when you aren't accustom to it and/or you're not confident in your ability to render the image. Nicely done man, looks brilliant.
Hey! Love the series so far, and I have an idea for the diorama, two actually. I think the rockets should be used as anti personnel weaponry. The other idea is to have the victor titan rip off armor/a limb as it pushes the loser beneath the waves. Maybe even have the foot go partially through? It would add some serious movement and power to the fight
Holy shit all three of these are amazing! So much props to Emil for continuing. You did a phenomenal job, it's astounding that this is something you've never done before!
Those are all fucking awesome, that bloodletter art is one of my favourites and it gets my stamp of approval :) And lucas again knocking it out of the park, they were both great
@Emil, use varnish to change the finish and lock in some progress. Also different medium and varnish for some of the step give you time and opportunity to correct some mistake! The Mona Lisa wasn’t paint with Vallejo acrylic!😉

Meaning no offence to Emil but Lukas is such a beast... 😱

Lukas: "I'm finally finished after 2-3 hours, I think it looks pretty good" Talking about one of the best bits of free hand I've seen on a model 😆
I love how Lucas is better than Squid :D
Also, have my first 500 pt army on the way to my house. Thanks for the inspiration my man.
That's an insane first freehand!! well done these warlord titans are going to be sick..
Also Lucas your freehands were amazing as always, but that eye, with the one on the boat.. thats just something special
I think its coming out really good! It will be the best Warlord titan (titans) ever!
So cool seeing artists push themselves to create something truly amazing
Lukas' freehand skills is just amazing
It's great to see how Emil approached the new skill by sticking to it and repaint over and over. Looks amazing and next one will be much faster.
i know you guys are moving more toward these grand scale projects now but i would still really like to see you guys paint up that retro 40k ork army at some point.
WTF, you both should be extremely proud of you have achieved, amazing work lads.
Would love a shout out to good posture when painting, maybe share some of the stretches you guys do to keep the body well through your art practice. 🙏
I know is kinda unrelated but I’ll keep asking if maybe you can add a goblin in the diorama as a reference of the trade journey 😊
WOOOOOOW.
That end product!
WOW
The ♥ reflection in the kraken eye who just wants to hug the ship! :D

Very pleased by the image of a tiny khornate demon taking a break from general bloodshed to very carefully paint a massive self portrait on a titan
That Daemon.... Hell yeah. So excited about this build and where its heading. 🤘
Lucas free hands are so ridiculously good its insane but credit to emil for really sticking it out
why does EVERYTHING you guys do look amazing?
The kraken and boat on the shoulder blade was absolutely fire 🔥
You both are so incredibly talented, the three free hands are stunning
wow, this is going to be one of the nicest titans out there. period
I really like how you do the sponsored section of the video. Like that people don't have to skip as there is still content on the screen.
Crazy work! Setting the bar high for the rest of the project
really good! congratulations. I'm familiar with the idea of painting with pencil on the figure before painting the freehand 😉😉
This has all been phenomenal so far, can't wait to see it all come together!
This Video inspired me to Free hand a base for a Bloodletter Champion and I am so happy with the result!
I watched a video yesterday about whether painting miniatures is an art or not. After seeing this I think it is. Quality channel!!!!!!!!
Absolutely amazing guys your two are so talented!!!!!!!

they all looked amazing!!!!
The demon is absolutely bad ass, but...I still give my vote for favorite to the boat piece. It looks amazing and really fits the panel well. 😍
Oh boy i love those freehands
WTF, those were some insane free hands!!! Jesus F* Christ those are so cool!
You guys really are artists, what lovely freehand from both of you.
Really loving it!
Fabulous. I am smitten with these multi-video diorama projects.
That kraken freehand is beautiful.
the freehands are crazy good!!
Those were some epic freehand paintings.
whoah i was just looking around at an old hobby i'd forgotten, this is amazing

Just think about it in this way the longer it takes the more content you can have xD an epic 15 part series on freehand painting
Nice work guys. Lukas you are a crazy guy with the freehand.
Yoooo these look incredible! You both absolutely smashed it and the atmosphere and lighting in all of them is fantastic! Looking forward to more
Dude those krakens are nuts!
Nice freehand, I'm not sure about the iconography of a sailboat in the WH40K setting but it is well paintet. Looking forward for the finished piece 😊
Takes a lot of guts to attack something like that when you aren't accustom to it and/or you're not confident in your ability to render the image. Nicely done man, looks brilliant.
Absolutely brilliant! You boys are really showing your talent. A brilliant idea superbly executed.
Master piece!!! Straight to a museum... 👏
Regards from Buenos Aires.
This channel needs more squids, kraken and cephalopods in general.
You guys are truly artists. Amazing work.
They look awesome guys! Well done!
I just can't wait to see the completed project. This is gonna be one for the history books dudes
Epic work, especially as it's your first time at freehand!
These are insane!
I know we're miles away from the end product but I can't wait to see it finished!
Lovely Video, as always
Jesus christ thats some god damn works of art. Amazing
Incredible work both of you!
Lukas! You absolute beast! Those kraken look awesome!
You guys are inhumanly good.
Another insane piece of work
This freehand is lit! You guys are so talented. The blues with the Kraken really pop. Amazing work… excited to see what’s next for the titan diorama!!

Lukas the God of free hand painting, we're not worthy
The free hand came out beautiful
Great execution, the slight curve of the panel always makes things a little trickier than you'd expect!
Holy shit all three of these are amazing! So much props to Emil for continuing. You did a phenomenal job, it's astounding that this is something you've never done before!
Top stuff lads. 5 days is a massive effort and would’ve required immense patience. Respect!
Amazing artistry from you two, those painting look sick.
Duuuuuuude those look sick! Good work!
Damn man them free hands where awsome
What a piece of art
Very impressive. Great work guys.
Wow! Excellent work Gents
Those are amazing! Especially as your first free hand!
Those are all fucking awesome, that bloodletter art is one of my favourites and it gets my stamp of approval :) And lucas again knocking it out of the park, they were both great
It's the best every time you guys say .... "WaRLOd TItaNN!!!"
100% some of the best art I’ve seen! Congrats guys!
wow that looks VERY good
I’m beyond excited to see the finished result . You’re both doing an amazing job !
WOW. Awesome freehands from both of you. The project is getting better and better...
Thats some unreal free-hand, genuinely spectacular results.
@Emil, use varnish to change the finish and lock in some progress. Also different medium and varnish for some of the step give you time and opportunity to correct some mistake! The Mona Lisa wasn’t paint with Vallejo acrylic!😉
I like how the front tentacle of the 2nd Kraken looks like a mustache :D
Super rad ..Love all 3 pieces a lot
they were amazing.
honestly i hope every panel has art like it on them... love the look
Wowowowow you guys are raising the bar in every single video to a new level!
Free-hand? That's some ascended-hand painting right there.
3 badass pieces!
All three look really great. An inspiration not to give up when the going gets tough
That's really cool guys, good job!
All the freehands turned out so well!
Epic. These are like Titan tattoos!
Honestly this is one of the most impressive videos yet!
