- Chain Restaurants have some very tasty appetizers! For an entire day, we decided to eat the unhealthiest ones out there. Our goal was to crown a winner for the best (and the tastiest) chain restaurant appetizer!

I think it’s just what she said time makes a difference. It’s sort of similar to working in a machine shop around dangerous equipment. If you let some teenager in there they’d probably lose a digit or worse. Someone who is around that all day and is an expert it’s not as scary anymore. Kristie is with Eric so much sees so much food so often she’s probably numb to it at this point. It’s just another day another challenge. She gets used to it after a while and it’s easier
My favorite app is the pizza skins at uno’s they all closed down in MA so I have to go to New Hampshire

Honestly most of their stuff will be less at Texas Roadhouse. You have to remember they use BIG onions, bloom them out so that the batter and frying oil doesn’t just cover the original onion, but like 50 of those little fingers.

I’m so chocked about the amount of calories that such tiny portions can fit. I’m from Sweden and that a normal meal reaches over 1000 calories is not common at all

It's crazy. I'm from a part of the US where there's not really a whole lot of chain restaurants or at least there used to not be. I've noticed that the portions in my hometown are a lot smaller than most of America, except for a chain restaurants of course. It really confuse me because people will talk about how small portions are in Japan and Korea etc but they're really not.... They're actually bigger than where I live, but they have way less calories on average. It just blows my mind how poisonous our food is for us and how much of a calorie bomb it is. It's frustrating.

My favorite appetizer is the "Cactus Blossom" from Texas Roadhouse or the "Spinach and Artichoke Dip" at Applebees. AMAZING!!! ❤❤
The campfire sauce at Red Robin is amazingggg 🤤love the endless sweet potato fries. You need to try the cheddar bay biscuits at Red Lobster dining it, definitely the best restaurant bread
Cheddar Bay biscuits at Red Lobster for sure. Next best IMO would be the soft warm buns with cinnamon butter at Texas Roadhouse. I recently tried the new Donatos Pizza as an app at Red Robin... pleasantly surprising!

Favorite appetizer is Chili Chese Tops from McDonalds here in Denmark! Try looking them up! It's fried cheese balls with jalapenos in it!

Anytime you buy a cactus blossom or bloomin onion, always save some to put on your salad.

I believe that the waffle fry still hasn't reached it's full potential yet. Someday...Somewhere...a place is gonna come along and idk, put some kind of mind blowing seasoning on it or add an extra crisp or something and just be like the best god darn waffle fries anyone has ever had. I love you guys! I now live in San Diego too. I’ve never had what Brazilian said Portuguese people (my people) call entrada or aperitif here in the US because the portion sizes are HUGE! In Brasil and Portugal we have bolinho de bacalhau (cod fish ball), pão de queijo (cheese bread), olives, cheese and crackers (made out of toasted baguettes!).. 🇧🇷🇵🇹💪🏻🩰
I live in Orlando and we have a bunch of Brasilians and Tourists as well. I'm Dominican American 🇩🇴 and had never felt so seen until I figured out how much Brasilians and Portugese loooooove Bacalao!!!!!! It's such an underrated fish. And the Brasilian Cheese Bread is LOVELY I could eat it all day everyday!!!! Good luck in San Diego!

The mac & cheese balls from The Cheesecake Factory are always a winner. Them and the dynamite shrimp from PF chang's are my 2 favorite appetizers.
Shrimp Fritto Misto from Olive garden, it's so good. It's fried shrimp, peppers and onions and it's so tasty. 🤤
The fabulous dipping sauce at Red Robin is called Campfire sauce and is basically mayo mixed with bbq sauce. I make it all the time.

Lasagna fritta from Olive Garden is my all time fave food, but prior to them changing it to meat sauce on top. I have to order it special now which is annoying since I’m vegetarian but they’ll still make it that way if you ask
You have to try Outback Stake houses blooming onion. Way better than Texas roadhouse

Please try Yard House. Chicken nachos and onion ring tower. Way better onion ring tower than Red Robin imo
The only two apps I ever eat (and I usually just get them as my actual meal) are Applebees spinach artichoke dip and Texas Roadhouse loaded potato skins. Both of these are so good 😊
Chicken wings from Applebee's my favorite flavor is definitely sweet chili, honey pepper and BBQ and the chicken Asian tacos from Applebee's.
My other favorites are the blooming onion and the chicken wings from outback steakhouse!

Red Robin’s campfire sauce is unmatched
I have never eaten at any of these places except Cheesecake Factory. I really like their nachos but without the fake cheese, I ask for real cheese and it makes a huge difference. I want to eventually try Olive Gardens but I guess not enough to do it lol. I have these restaurants around me but none seem all that good in my mind. Maybe Texas Roadhouse because I've heard their rolls are amazing so I'll try them after Olive Garden. But who knows when is anyones guess. Food does't rule me but I do enjoy seeing it and watching others test it.

I love the Shiitake Garlic Noodles at the Yard House. They also used to have a great egg roll but that's gone now. Gotta try that Olive Garden deep fried lasagna. That looked way too good. Of course the deep fried mac n cheese balls from Cheesecake Factory are in the appetizer hall of fame.

I used to work at Black Angus and the nachos were meh. They'd give you bubble guts hahha 😂 they used to have this flame garlic bread but they took it off.
best appetizer i've ever had was Longhorn steakhouse four cheese spinach dip with flatbread chips nothing has topped it yet

I don't know if this would be considered an appetizer but both Chikie and Pete's or a PJ Whelehan's have something called crabfries with an American Cheese dipping sauce that's pretty darn good. There's no actual crab in crab fries btw. It's just means they put old bay seasoning on it.

Awesome video! But you all HAVE to try the egg roll sampler from Cheesecake Factory, and if they don’t have the sampler just get the cheeseburger egg rolls. They are a go to in my book!

I worked at a Texas Roadhouse for 3 years, and at every lunch break all I would eat is the signature cactus blossom. It's too good.
I agree about the onion blossom being the best, but my other favorite is Texas Roadhouses fried pickles with Chipotle sauce.

Kind of a “how the hell is this an appetizer,” but my favorite is probably the killer ribs basket from Texas Roadhouse - it’s literally a chunk of ribs on a bed of fries. That’s a meal lol.
