A Shinji Mikami-directed cover based shooter. As in - one of the most fucked up amazingly fast-paced shooters in existence. Seriously - give this guy a Civilization game to direct and he'll make it into something you'll sweat blood with bloodshot crazed eyes while playing.
Tnx man. Trying to push the limit a little bit further each time. It's fun to play risky, going for that all or nothing, no holds barred type of deal. That's often where some of the coolest and most random stuff tends to happen. ✌
Not anymore, you broke the fuckin game, ha ha. God Hard made me feel like I was playing a cover shooter, though Im sure it wouldnt slow you down too much.
Right haha. Yeah GH is a different beast for sure. I know @Raeng did a ''no cover run'' on God Hard back in the day on the original version so it's def a possibility. I only really dabbled with God Hard so far because I couldn't juggle between that and running the tactical challenges mainly because of the difference in meter management. Really got to focus on one or the other exclusively if you wanna thrive I think. ✌
@@ZikosRealm Yea. That sounds brutal without cover. I saw some other japanese players doing crazy shit too, similiar to what youve done. Makes sense. The rhythym and pacing is so different on God Hard since you die from a few pellets and I almost never used the slow motion mode, unless it auto activated, it was very brief on God Hard so I had to get used to actually using it manually during the challenges.
@@theconsolekiller7113 Yeah you're probably talking about @Vnichiro & @MoluJpn. The founding fathers of the tactical challenge speedrun strategies. They both came up with some super clever strats that still hold up. Great stuff.
@@theconsolekiller7113 LoL yeah. I guess it's an aquired taste haha. But there are and have been more good challenge players out there, and some of 'em barely or don't upload any gameplay vids at all. Sucks 'cause it would be awesome to see more good players go at it.
More like cover BASED. Excellent run
For sure haha. Tnx man ✌

Civilization lol. That's hilarious man.
@user-ey4gq1uz9r indeed, he did. In a year. Which is just… astounding, considering the result.
And that´s the reason people play it as a cover shooter as well XD
Vanquish is just a lot of fun to play, regardless of playstyle.
Imagine the new Gears Prequel game having this lol.
Damn son!! You seem to get better with each new video.
