How to Juggle 7 Balls (Advanced Tutorial)

You want to learn how to juggle with 7 balls! In this tutorial, Niels Duinker will show you how! The basic pattern in with 7 is the cascade. In the cascade, all the balls cross. You will build on what you already can do with 5 and 6 balls. The juggling of 7 balls will take you a good amount of time to learn but it is worth it!

There was no UA-cam or internet in the late 1980s when I was learning. There was no club for me to go to nearby. I had to learn a lot from books. I was the only juggler I knew. You guys are lucky.

Now I know, your left hand is your dominant hand, I always used to think, you start the pattern with your non-dominant hand, because you always pretended the right as your dominant hand.

thanks for the tutorial. after watching your videos i got 3 minutes with 4 ball, 1 minute 50 seconds with 5 ball, 63 catches with 6 ball, 21 catches with 7 ball and then after 8 months finally i can juggle 8 balls with 8 catches

7 ballls is like the holy grail of juggling, there are lots of pros that can´t even touch 7 balls, so if I can hit 7 balls without being considered a pro juggler, that would be pretty cool. I am currently working on 6 balls, so yeah got lots of work to do, but one day for sure.
pros can juggle 7 balls don't loose your shirt or your house! 9 balls is the holy Grail!
@@davidgivins5731 hell no, you know how many people all together have done 9 balls, can gayrentee under 1,000. I have not yet even seen someone do more then 5 and I'm a juggler.
after i spent 6-8 months grinding out 6 ball, i was able to flash and qualify 7 ball very very fast. but ive been working on 7 balls for almost 1.5 years now and it takes so much energy to sustain. my best runs are probably about 8-10 rounds

One of these years I will get this. I have recently been catching six and am feeling/seeing the pattern for seven. Yesterday I decided to make a tracker ball. I put a colored rubber band around one of my bags. I really need a different colored ball, it would be lots easier to track than a rubber band on a ball. Now, I just thought of an easy way to color one of my bags. I could put balloons over one of the bags, that would give a similar grip, better than aluminum foil, though that could be cool, too, maybe. One tip I would add is to learn to Breathe freely when going for six or seven. I had a small musical theatre group lunching in our local park holler "BREATHE!!!" in my direction once as I struggled to loft six balls, a few years back. I gathered they had watched my relentless efforts and had noticed my breathing, or lack thereof, as I kept going for it. I heeded their suggestion and noted that they had a good point. There is something to getting the breathing so that it is not labored. The big trick, maybe, is to relax in equal proportion to the needed concentration. Too relaxed and it can fall apart. Concentrate too much on the mechanics, and it becomes less fluid. This, and a couple of other things like speaking Portugues or doing tricks with ball-on-ball, I figured out all on my own. I am given more to combo tricks than to numbers. Both are great fun to play with, though I much prefer watching combo tricks. The Brunn dynasty captured my attention early on, I even met Lottie and Ernst. I have juggled since 1976, still learning, thankfully so. Thanks for your inspiration and spot-on simple tips. yeah you will. i've been grinding 7 balls for over a year now and i dont think ive gotten 100 catches yet. after about 4-5 rounds, my muscles start burning out. 7 takes A LOT of energy to sustain

Hey Nils, any idea how you get your 5 balls nice and high? Struggling with that part, my non-dominant hand does not want to throw high somehow...it might also be related to the rhythm?
Practise😁 We all have non dominant hand issues at some stages.

Hello Sunita, It depends a bit on your arm strength, the size of your hand, your age, and how many balls you will be juggling.
