I use to kick up like nothing and I didnt do it for a few years and then one day I was going to show my friend that I could do it and I failed and realized i couldn't do it anymore. It was embarrassing.
Ha. Me too. I was about 200lbs lighter then though.

Actually worked. I found out the the step when u land in a full bridge is the best. Ur basically already up and if u practise that u get it
I'm on my second day trying to do this and I have been seeing progress. Thank you man.
My biggest progress has been realising that this is not an upward motion but a forward one.
Actually I was wrong it feels like you are getting the hang of it when you do it forward but you are actually not. It is supposed to be an upward motion.

@@siegejiren3125 I think that is supposed to happen as you learn. You gotta really lift yourself almost to a candle position my friend says (who can do kip ups) also I trained kip ups in a judo dojo. Which have mats... So my tailbone didn't get bruised. I was able to get myself on my feet but I kept falling back from there. Maybe training sissy squats would help idk

Took me an hour and a half but I finally managed to land it! What a buzz! My biggest issue was I wasn’t generating enough power because I find it really difficult to bend my wrists into that position to push off the floor. Was close to giving up but decided to give it my all and managed it so thanks for the advice!
What did u do to generate the power. I've the same problem can't bend my wrists fully like that
The faster you do it, the less knee bend you have on landing I just figured it out! It's like an instant slingshot
Do I have to extend legs up and arms at once or firstly I should shoot legs and after that arms??
And usually I kick my legs up too early and I roll on head a little bit

Thank you so much. At the beginning when you mentioned committing I didn't think it applied to me and my attempts, however by the end I realized every time I attempt it my hands instantly tried to stop me from falling and more often then not it's behind my body which meant I wasn't committing to it.
i felt real smug becauuse i could do the first 2 mini steps right away, and it went downn from there
I’m making progress already! I’m a ballerina trying out for dance team so this trick is super new to me but it’s so much fun
I literally used to do this for fun. I got lazy and packed on muscle and some fat over the years and just stopped doing it. Then one day I attempted it and couldn't do it anymore. I shit you not, after watching this video I relearned how to do it in less than an hr. Bro, you're an awesome teacher.

I achieved comfortable enough with the full bridge position, the rest of work is to follow your technique.

I taught myself how to do one a while ago, it honestly only took me an hour or so theyre rlly easy once u figure out the right technique
