Thank you for these clips! I remember my dad's friend got this set of VCD's from the Mainland. Used to watch them all the time. Thought they'd be lost, but it's great that you're putting them up. Sun Jianyu shows what could be done with taichi, still practiced well into her old age.
So glad I found your channel; recommended by serpentza! This is absolutely enthralling- Sun Tai Qi - performed by the daughter. It encourages me to keep practicing; I could sense the vitality coming from this beautiful soul!! Appreciate her lecture too! Subscribed!
Thanks Byron. Sun Jianyun was always very down-to-earth. Saw another interview when she laughed at some of the stories about her father, and said he was just a very talented martial artist, not superhuman.
There's so much more to martial arts than just fighting, that's the very surface of the whole art. I remember when I was younger I used to think the same way, so excited about the punches and kicks to the air, couldn't wait for a real situation to use them and guess what... It never happened! The more I practiced, the more I cultivated my character so I could manage and prevent problematic events to arise. The whole point is to discover oneself through self-awareness, respect, discipline and long-lasting health benefits. Regards from Costa Rica!

Hi Siphiwo! Thanks! Hope you are well!
Hi, do you teach this a sun style? I do other tai chi forms but am interested in Sun style
No, I am not a taiji practitioner
Bro, I caught this before, why did you reupload, if you dont mind the question?
I forgot to add a label in the translation.:P
@@MuShinMartialCulture oh, well that explains it lolol
Young fake old fake you're still a fake. Any martial art is a fighting style. If it's ineffective what's the point in the whole thing?
Are you trying to say at her age here you want her to fight?
