Negan is the best character in the whole series. The kind of development that his character does is mind-blowing. He's so real and human. You see how a weak simple man can give in to the darkness and then after a long time, how he can come back to his true self. And what I like about Negan in particular is that whenever he was anything, he was always honest. Even when he was at war with Rick and made a lot of people's lives miserable. Even then, he was never crooked.
Totally agree, the depth of his character is amazing. He's literally the only reason I watched the show and why I loved Dead City. Whilst it's a fictional show I get the reason he went from nice guy to Negan - life can be hard so maybe you need to be a different person to survive in it
One of the best things I find he said was just WHY he chose the lineup. Why it happened..and even after he explained about the Outpost…how he had to be the one to tell his people of the loss…Maggie made excuses..Im thinking it was after season 9…when he told her about Lucille and she just threw him back in..She said it was done then…then after that..he goes to save 3 communities by killing Alpha. Saves Lydia and Judith..Hershel..AND Maggie and she is still trying to kill him…Maggie has become a one dimensional character I cannot stand. How interesting the savior manages to save every damn person.
@@GeekGal84 true and one more thing he did that lineup because Rick and his people killed his 30+ men while they were sleeping which is very disrespecting and he also killed only 1 guy but because of Daryl mistake he killed glenn negan was a man of his word but maggie she just stupid when they were going to Washington to get some food in season 10-11 I guess? They were going through the tunnel which negan told they shouldn't and they shouldn't follow maggie lead but that stupid girl thought that he is saying bullshit and then because of her 4+ people got killed
@@GarryRohillabut It’s not disrespectful for the saviors to attack, enslave and terrorize other communities into submission to their rules? How the saviors made settlements produce for them for their own benefit? Killed anyone who resisted? Also let’s get this fact out of the way Negan attacked RICKS GROUP FIRST. And they weren’t going to sit around and wait for a group that was a clear and obvious threat to their community. That’s why they attacked the outpost. But Negan Stan’s will refuse to acknowledge this. Maggie’s a stupid girl for going through a tunnel to get food for a community who were low on supplies, ammunition and other items? Negan doesn’t get to act all high and mighty.
Yeah, he went evil. But he came full circle. It's like a great story of redemption. He almost suffered the fate of his own actions, and manned up and told the truth to himself. Great writing, directing and acting. A character with a story to tell. That's what makes a show. Telling a good story. And JDM was the perfect choice for this story
This shows just how easily TWD fans are manipulated. Negan was an absolute scumbag who laughed while Glenn's eyeball was hanging out of his skull, but spend 2 episodes showing him playing video games and crying over his wife and fans are like "omg what a good man" LMAO
It's called redemption arc and development. All the writers and storytellers are "manipulating" (like you said) the audience to feel emotions with non real characters and situations. It's old like time and not something bad.
Negan was a bad guy then a good one and then for a long time a monster and finally he turned good again all because of things that happened to him. Its called a character arc
A good man? This MUST be a joke, he laughed while he was killing and torturing people. Just put in some sad music and memories and the fans think hes the Messiah 🤦
@THEJefftheKiller sure but your the only one mentioning them we can mention the slavery, multiple wives, the killing of every male over 10 at oceanside or killing of a teen over a pumpkin notice how none of those had to do with Glen or Abraham maybe if you weren't meatriding negan so hard you'd see what he's actually done
@@peacockmenaceor how he never actually regrets those actions in that same speech where he gaslights Maggie about "how the people Rick's group killed had families" as if he cared about families when he would go on to kill an enslave settlements but how he laments about how he would have killed Rick's group had he known they were gonna cause him to lose his throne
at first I did hate him but then he made me laugh then I started to love him
Yes.

And had a wicked lean!

Exactly.
Mind-blowing, just like Glenn.
Maggie thinks she is the only one that has lost someone and treats negan like he never lost anything

Sometimes the evil that posesses people, will destroy someone's hope in in another person entirely.

Negan hid behind humour and violence but it was karl that staryed his journey to redemtion .😊😊
A Good Man❌
A Broken Man✅
The age of extinction soundtrack make it even more...... Heartbreaking
Negan is the best character in évolution i love him ❤❤
When he's in Maggie's cell, he looks like Charles Manson jajajajajj'
You attacked two of the saviors post and expected no repercussions, not on Negans watch.
"FAMILY"
He is almost the best Charakter in this Series.
😭❤️
He is the best
True but i love Daryl too
While Negan was driving the RV it would have been very easy for Rick to kill him
Then the saviors would kill all his group
Negan made me laugh the first time I saw him then he killed Abraham
A big mistake 😅 I loved Abraham's character. 😩☝🏾 But love Negan more than that
I feel bad for negan yes he did bed thing but he became a good guy ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Im glad his Character is not dead yet, but im dissapointed he didnt fight The Beta...
