My mum had this record she always sang this x
Great song, great performance, and your usual on point, thoughtful reaction. Thanks J.
A blast from the past, thank you! I don't think i can say anything that hasn't already been said, but wanted to leave my two penn'orth.
The New Seekers were a different band from a generation or so later; they may have had one or more of the original band.
One of my favorite songs! Judith Durham's voice is angelic. Loved to see you singing along at the end. You should hear her sing "Danny Boy". Thanks for recognizing and appreciating this music:-)
Thanks for your heart-felt appreciation of this music. You are so right. It's raw and beautiful. I wish we could hear it again, and I love all kinds of music so I'm not stuck in a time warp. You nailed it perfectly.
I grew up with this music you would love a world of our own and Georgy Girl ! Judith has one of the all time great voices
YES check out some of their other HIT Singles.. Really Great Vocal Group.
they did a stint on an Andre Rieu 2011 concert, and her voice was still amazing !
Yes SIMPLE - Compact - but BEAUTIFUL...!!! : )
Beautiful song with amazing singer/s!
R.I.P Judith Durham ! 🌹🌹🌹 XxX
Judith rocks!
Judith Durham is a goddess. Her voice is still amazing
Good choice, Judith Durham had a beautiful voice, she will be sadly missed, RIP,
The sentiment in this song..
Great lyrics and music.
An amazing band.
Great reaction, you should do more songs like this.
She was a beautiful and talented person! RIP. She will be missed. 💔💔💔
The New Seekers were a pop band formed in London in 1969 by Keith Potger after The Seekers broke up. they tried to apeal to the same crowd as the original Seekers. Good reaction vid!
R.I.P. Judith ❤️😢 05-08-2022
Pure talent! They actually sang, harmonized, and had lyrics! (Not out-screaming each other!) You said it, they had skill! Great reaction. 🙂
The world truly lost a beautiful voice. Judith passed away recently. My husband introduced me to all different types of music. Including this group and song . We introduced our son to instruments, music from the time he could walk . I love how these tutorials show your reaction.
RIP Judith Durham.
Love your face as you’re listening
That's what the ram said "ill never find another ewe".
she can flat out sing
I recommend another great song by The Seekers 'The Carnival Is Over' which knocked The Beatles off the top spot in the charts in the 60's.
I love watching younger people reacting to the music of my youth and are blown away by it.
All of The Seekers are still with us, Jay! The next song you should do of theirs should be “Georgy Girl”.
Judy is dead
Watch I am Australian. Magical. Our Anthem. Well should be. By the Seekers of course...
My parents' song. Reminds me of being a kid while they played this and decorated the house. I miss you dad and I'm looking after mum ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Written by Tom Springfield the brother of Dusty Springfield in 1964.
You nailed it. Singing in harmony is almost never heard anymore in popular music.
Not to mention a full band performing together in one cut around a few mics.
Absolutely beautiful woman, with a beautiful voice. May she rest in peace.
One of the most popular groups to come from Australia in the 60's..they had a wonderful catalogue of amazing music..if you can have a listen to them singing The Carnival is Over..just beautiful! Love your reacrions my friend..very cool indeed!
We have lost Judith Durham this week, and the news broke my heart. Her incredible singing will never be forgotten.
You should definitely react to them again and again. Great sound and Judith's voice.... amazing!
They remind me of the Carpenters in way. Both have beautiful female singers and both have such sweet and wholesome songs
Simple, elegant, beautiful ... yeah, we need more like this. :)
A lovely song , loved the Seekers more from the 60's please, , Cilla Black, Shirley Bassey, the Tremeloes , Small Faces, so many great sounds
The Seekers and The New Seekers were 2 totally different groups
Also RIP the great Judith Durham
