I'm actually surprised. Rose really showcased her vocals here, and she sounded more authentic in this kind of genre. It's a different side of her. She really grows into an artist who is finding her style and what kind of musician she wants to be. This vibe is really cool.

Well, she signed on his label at the end of September. Gave him her demo at the beginning of October. Cut it and released it in the middle of October and here they are in the middle of November. It’s not like he was all that involved with it to begin with. He directed the video and he added his verse and his background vocals.

@@헬로-r6r음… 하려면 못 할 것도 없지만… 드럼이나 기타 앰프가 저 한 공연을 위해 처음부터 끝 까지 무대위에 덩그러니 있어야 한다는거… 밴드가 여럿 출연 한다면 그런 것도 나쁘지 않습니다만, 그게 아니라면 무대 그림이 별로 안 좋죠. 제약도 많고요. 그게 아니라면 회전무대를 만들어야 합니다. 돈이 많이 들겠죠. 무대미술 스텝들 곡 소리가 여기까지 들리네요.ㅎ 그 외에 시간적 제약도 큽니다. AR + 보컬이면 보컬 톤 잡고 모니터만 신경쓰면 되지만, 밴드 라이브는 시간이 몇 배는 더 필요해요. 리허설 시간을 많이 잡아먹을 텐데, 오직 한 밴드만을 위해 그렇개 하기 쉽지 않습니다.
마마처럼 초대형 무대는 아니지만 라이브가 그냥 펍같은 분위기라 더 독특하고 여운이 남네요. 사실 아파트 영상도 최소한의 설비로 음색 하나로 승부보는 분위기가 너무 좋았거든요. 역시 가수는 노래잘하면 모든게 일사천리란걸 보여주고 있네요. 라이브 신나게 함께해준 브루노한테 한없이 고맙고 로제에겐 무한사랑 보내요^^

As someone who is Bruno Mars fan for so many years he is my favorite artist, i never ever expect that he will be on mnet account. I'm so proud of Rose even though i don't follow BP music that much but she is always took all my attention. This collab is going in the history for the best collab ever made.
It's a great collab for sure and it looks like Rose has a chance to explode as a global superstar - and Bruno can do no wrong. I will say, however, I still think his collab with Anderson Paak on Silk Sonic might be the best of all time.

The special thing about this performance and the song itself is that it's not just a collaboration between two artists. I love that Rosé focused on simplicity in this comeback. It must’ve been a big pressure being a BP member -what will happen after leaving YG, will she also put up her own company, what’s her next projects, new brands? Yet, we were welcomed with a simple MV set with single MV outfit/look different from the usual image of BP. APT focused on Rosé and Bruno’s chemistry and song quality. And now, she gave us a MAMA performance without the extravagant set, costume or arrangement. Even her hair and makeup is simple. I believe it’s her way of breaking the high expectations anticipated from every BP member and because of this, it sets her apart and it became her advantage. Remembering her past song “On the Ground”, she’s really into reminding herself to be grounded and I love her for that. ❤️

밴드는 악기 현장조율만도 수십 분 걸려서 팀브루노 같은 탑밴드는 마마생방으로 출연하기 불가능해요. 그런데도 사녹했다고 로제 욕하는 사람 많아서 넘 맘아픔

밴드가 여럿 출연 한다면 그런 것도 나쁘지 않습니다만, 그게 아니라면 무대 그림이 별로 안 좋죠. 제약도 많고요.
그게 아니라면 회전무대를 만들어야 합니다. 돈이 많이 들겠죠. 무대미술 스텝들 곡 소리가 여기까지 들리네요.ㅎ
그 외에 시간적 제약도 큽니다.
AR + 보컬이면 보컬 톤 잡고 모니터만 신경쓰면 되지만, 밴드 라이브는 시간이 몇 배는 더 필요해요. 리허설 시간을 많이 잡아먹을 텐데, 오직 한 밴드만을 위해 그렇개 하기 쉽지 않습니다.
무대 뒤에 안보이는 곳에서 노력하는 사람들에게도 박수를 보냅니다.
특히 이번공연은 코디네이터가 큰 몫을 한 것 같아요.
넥타이 풀어헤치고 흥청망청 놀고있음을 확실하게 보여주네요~
완벽하게 노래와 어울어지는 컨셉.. 전세계 직장인들 맘속에도 불지르는 순간~~

마마처럼 초대형 무대는 아니지만 라이브가 그냥 펍같은 분위기라 더 독특하고 여운이 남네요. 사실 아파트 영상도 최소한의 설비로 음색 하나로 승부보는 분위기가 너무 좋았거든요. 역시 가수는 노래잘하면 모든게 일사천리란걸 보여주고 있네요. 라이브 신나게 함께해준 브루노한테 한없이 고맙고 로제에겐 무한사랑 보내요^^

As someone who is Bruno Mars fan for so many years he is my favorite artist, i never ever expect that he will be on mnet account. I'm so proud of Rose even though i don't follow BP music that much but she is always took all my attention. This collab is going in the history for the best collab ever made.
It's a great collab for sure and it looks like Rose has a chance to explode as a global superstar - and Bruno can do no wrong. I will say, however, I still think his collab with Anderson Paak on Silk Sonic might be the best of all time.

Rosé is way beyond being a kpop idol she is more bigger than that she is a real musician and performer.
I love that Rosé focused on simplicity in this comeback. It must’ve been a big pressure being a BP member -what will happen after leaving YG, will she also put up her own company, what’s her next projects, new brands? Yet, we were welcomed with a simple MV set with single MV outfit/look different from the usual image of BP. APT focused on Rosé and Bruno’s chemistry and song quality.
And now, she gave us a MAMA performance without the extravagant set, costume or arrangement. Even her hair and makeup is simple. I believe it’s her way of breaking the high expectations anticipated from every BP member and because of this, it sets her apart and it became her advantage. Remembering her past song “On the Ground”, she’s really into reminding herself to be grounded and I love her for that. ❤️
