I've been following quite a lot of youtube channels over the last few years, both photography related and others. I must say, this channel is the single most interesting and entertaining of the bunch. You just seem like a great bloke who loves what he's doing and loves talking about it without ever taking himself too seriously, all the while inspiring and educating the community. Keep up the great work!
I just stumbled across your channel and you earned my subscription 2 minutes into the first video. This is simply amazing, I learned something, I laughed super hard, I saw some beautiful images and especially prints. Printing in the darkroom is just so super satisfying but I don't have any chance to build one. Love your vibe and the content, and now I'm off, binge watching all your other videos
Just wanted to say you really have inspired me to go out and shoot more thanks for the amazing content! I just finished testing out some 8x10 ortho film on a pumpkin myself. Hopefully I will make some prints soon.
I will when I get a bigger enlarger. I can't print 6x7 on mine. I could get a 6x7 back now but it would drive me nuts not being able to print them in full.
@@ShootFilmLikeaBoss i get one no much a go to jump a medium format, i began with 135 film with one of the cameras that you have, Nikon N90S, a great camera.
This is going to be me in the winder... started to collect some interesting dry plants and flowers... should keep me busy for a while in the winder :D. Pretty cool results! P.S. - "Wasn't me... " - hilarious :D
I am looking forward to my own darkroom/reloading room . Just bought a house with four acres on a river in London. London Arkansas, that is! but i am finally going to have that darkroom! P.S. we also have a Paris.
Very nice indeed. I also think its commendable that you are trying to educate the ' newbies ' in the art of darkroom printing. All this when some our ' photographer ' friends are too busy promoting AI enabled software that will change the sky and transform the photo into something from its memory banks. Might as well take up painting, its more honest .
I could have took stopped down the lens to aperture if I needed more time to play. I think Rodinal would have been be too grainy especially at 1/100 for this flower. That's saying without trying though... Good thought.

4 acres in near the London river would be some millions! Great news on the DR!

@@ShootFilmLikeaBoss You are welcome sir.
So that's what Mick was singing about!😂
Yep. Ortho film Don ha ha
THANKYOU good stuff
Maybe try dev the film in somthing like rodinal 1:100/1:75 (to have more play under the enlarger).
