Apologies for premiering this thing almost three months past the release of the original game's 10th anniversary (and for uploading one day short of FNAF 2's 10th anniversary), but we're still in the 10 year range and haven't reached the 11th 😜 This one took over a year to research, play games, script, and edit, so I thank you and appreciate all of your patience in finally getting this one out. So the 2nd episode critiquing FNAF 2 will premiere in 2025 and I'm preparing the script and researching while not getting too m̶a̶n̶g̶l̶e̶d̶ - sorry, *tangled* with delays, but I still want to upload some 20-30 minute video essays for this channel in between working on the FOREVER FREDDY series. And I still have essays on HOLLOW KNIGHT, EDITH FINCH, and ANIMAL WELL to get back to; in fact, the last video for 2024 will be fanboying about my love for ANIMAL WELL and talking about why it stands out from other Metroidvanias in 2024 (although NINE SOLS is a pretty close contender for best Metroidvania). Well made video that intro music thing was really cool FNAF 4 jumpscare with hard rock perfect mix though though I do find the video to be a tad ranty, but that's all right because everyone has their own styles when they make these retrospectives count me at least intrigued by your channel and content. Keep up the good work
To be honest, I'm sorta preferring the teaser music for the FNAF 2 video essay towards the end, but yeah, I really thought the FNAF 4 jumpscare sound would go well with either an electric guitar or, in this case, a dark synth. Thanks for the thoughtful comment and for watching 😃

Look, I get that you're a newer youtuber, but talking for several minutes about gamer gate for several minutes in a video about fnaf is not how you get people to keep watching your content.
I get that it may not make sense now this early into my FNAF project, but trust me when I say bringing up GamerGate and the harm it did to indie gaming and developers and how it ties to FNAF (besides both originating at the same time in August 2014) will make sense as the series progresses. Regardless, thanks for commenting and watching anyway.
Overall, the video was pretty good. However, your side rant about gamer gate in the beginning was pretty unnecessary and not well researched to put it nicely. The gamer gate movement was critical to the left wing movement and pushed againts it, not to harass the individual and send de*th threats the people that did do those things in question were trolls on 4 chan and reddit that claimed to be apart of the movement. The rest of the video is pretty good, but please do better research about unrelated topics next time.
