Just the tutorial I needed, having a peanut head and all. Most companies don't offer smaller caps and most who do charge extra. UA-cam university to the rescue, thanks for sharing.
OMG Yes!!! Finally! I am a student for real now. Thank you so much. I"ve been looking for I don't even know how long for this very tutorial. Small head and holes in the lace. I had both these problems but no more!
See my circumference is only 21 and a couple other measurements are small but the ear to ear ones are in the large category. So I hope I can use this if not I’ll have to get an expensive factory wig to be happy 🥺
I purchased a $700 synthetic mono part unit that I’m still not happy with… Then I found a $50 one and wore that the whole damn summer!!… Go figure lol😊
I have a quick question …hope someone can help with… I always find that my units are way too big. I have a very small head. By the looks of this video, taking out the tracks horizontally, to me looks like it would make the unit Not smaller, but go up further in the back…maybe? Idk? …..How does it work? I watch the video. I’ve watched plenty of videos. They all do the same as you. But like I said I don’t understand how it makes it smaller. I would think that you would Cut the tracks going up and then sew it together, Which I’ve also seen but this method seems wiser seeing as you’re taking that whole track of hair out can anyone please help me in the comments to understand I hope I explained myself right. I’m new to units as I recently lost all my hair … help! Please ?
I think bringing the tracks closer together so that they’re sitting directly on top of one another sort of shrinks the cap(?). Generally, you want to leave sufficient gaps to be able to ‘stretch’ the cap over your head. So my understanding is once you shrink it - it should start to get small enough for a smaller head. To fit comfortably forehead to nape area. I don’t know whether this works for ear to ear measurements especially if you have ear tabs which can be so uncomfortable if your wig isn’t the right size. I’ll try this method on a really but wig I’ve got and see if it works, I didn’t want to have to cut it up. She did hers so well and so neat I don’t know - hope someone else answers your questions a little better.
