Thanks for your help - Technician license expired in July so had to take the test - with your help passed and since I had a General also got that back too. Explaining some of the question answer helped a lot. ❤

T3 B11 Answer: B. 300,000,000 is actually 300 million. You said, "300 thousand." Thanks for the lessons.

Heard this @12:30 , today. Still says '300 thousand'. Awesome content, nevertheless.

Yes, please have your editor edit your audio (record a snippet?) and replace "thousand" with "million", re-render, and then re-submit this otherwise fantastic video...pleeease? 73

Correct, the scientific term for speed of light is 3x10^8. Where the exponent 8 tells you how many zeros to add after the 3. In this case 8 zeros.

Great work Josh. Teach the tech. And always add in teaching the proper behavior on the radio too. That is such a problem these days as you are painfully aware.

No one would believe this BUT 2009 I DROVE ACROSS COUNTRY; I LIVED IN Lake Havasu,AZ always listened to the local FM " celebration station" Miss Debbie! I headed out to Wisconsin on my way I decided to take a short cut through Kansas I found myself in a stretch of flat absolutely No radio 70 mile zone. When I tuned in I picked Miss Debbie treehouse one show approximately 1200 miles away & Clear as a bell. I received the entire show the rest of the way & ( it was the only station I could get!!!Now when I returned I stopped at the station & told them thanks. It got me through!!! They ALL said that's NOT possible!!! WE only transmit about 70-100 miles???? I could only say BUT I LISTENED TO THE ENTIRE SHOW!!! ???? WHAT DO ANY OF YOU THINK About THAT???

Just wanted to say thanks for these videos. I just started diving into the amateur radio world a few days ago. It’s a lot of information but I find it to be facilitating and not boring at all. Your videos have been helping me a lot. Not sure when I’ll take the tech test but I’ll be nice and prepared thanks to all this info. Take care!

@@HamRadioCrashCourse I have a question. I’ve been listening to the repeater in North Carolina on my police scanner app. Every once in a while some random Morse Code pops up. Who is doing that and why are they using it?

My kids roasted your pronunciation of GIF sounding like Jiff the peanut butter brand.😂

While I subscribe to the G pronunciation, the creater stated it is pronounced “jif” but I don’t like it so I choice to ignore that fact.😂

I love these videos (watching 3> due to local differences), I'd like it if you made a longer form series where you went more into detail in some of the answers as a complete newbie.

A person that wants to learn the answers quickly should not watch this...This is great for after you learn the answers and take the test but want to know why it is the correct answers..Too many words that as you take the test are also in the wrong answers...KISS...Keeping it simple is great and not so fast would be great...Anouther Guy on youtube keeps it simple but too fast..As I took the practice test I remember seeing some of the wrong answers that are given that makes me second guess the right answers sometimes..Like I said , I will rewatch after I pass the test because I do want to understand What I am doing..Right now I just want to Pass..Thanks for all You do..

Respectfully. People learn and retain info differently. To imply there is any one way to learn ham radio is foley.
