Teacher Liz,really you have a nice heart,i thank you so much,i wish one day to speak english fluently like native english people, certainly by your help🙏🇲🇦
Learning phonetics for the first time. learned English for almost all years but never learned it phonetically. Such a great explanation. Thank you for this wonderful video.
Liz Cow sound's starting position in modern standard Southern British is more forward exactly as Cat. I hear it most often. People start it fairly forward.
Mam you are really great. I have learnt Arabic language and now I am going to learn English . Especially phonetic English. I am from Pakistan. Where do you live? Thanks for good job.
Hi Jamil.. Good luck with your studies. I'm from the UK and live in a small town on the south coast called Hastings overlooking the sea. Love ❤️ & 🕊Peace. Liz
Thanks a million, Liz! What a calm and relaxed way of teaching one of most tricky sounds of the English language, the diphthongs! The intonation is another challenging aspect of the English language, especially for the non natives. Wonder if you could help? Thanks again

Thank you so much liz you are excellent teacher your accent is lovely and clear is the pronounce thi or thə in word the one Is there an exception to the rule the? Love ❤ & Peace 🕊

Hi Josh. The best way that you've described is the second way with the schwa. Some speakers just use a long schwa sound after the consonant sound as it's easier and quicker in fast speech. However you may be at risk of not being understood.❤️&🕊️
Hello Ms. Plampton. Very nice video. I am actually asking about your pronunciation of the word "diphthong". You pronounce it "dip thong". Should the pronunciation actually be "diff thong"?
Hi Noel. That's a great question! You obviously have very good attention to detail. In answer to your question, both ways of pronouncing the word are correct. 🙂 ❤️ &🕊
Hi Liz Hope you're oKAy When someone say how are you? I say um okAy . Replacing I,Am & O with schwa and stressing "kay" clearly. I could just say "okay" response to question but if im using contractions" I'm " I don't need to stress" I'm" coz question has been asked about me. Both of us know each other. Also, easier to reach to "Kay" therefore stress better. What do you think?
Hi. Thank you! In answer to your question, 'here' and 'hear' sound exactly the same. Firstly, do not say the r at the end of the word. Start by saying the word 'he' /hi:/ with your mouth only slightly open, then release the sound by opening your jaw more to make the 'uh' sound, which we call the schwa. Practise until you can say the 2 sounds together, smoothly. (Heuh) Hope this helps 🙂 ❤️ & 🕊
Hello, I am an Arab, and I would like to learn the English language, as it is beautiful and useful, but I find it difficult with the sounds. Can you make one video for us, even if it is long and simplified, for the sounds in order to understand them? . I wrote this letter using Google Translate

Can we pronounce in two ways of the following words-Sure,Pure,cure, lure . e.g.1 U= Long o 2 U = u+ schwa.
