aaaa i'm first!!!! just wanted to say that my birthday was a few days ago and i honestly just wanted to be lazy and watch your vlogs at the end of the day, so thank you for helping me relax and be cosy!!!!! ❤
You are definitely a part of what's inspired me to get back into reading! I am doing some summer reading of old and new books. I also can relate to rereading a book from my school days and understanding the context so much more now that I am an adult. It's been quite an experience rereading a book series I loved when I was in middle/high school and I can see some of the things that didn't age too well. Still an overall great series, but yeah, it's so strange reading it all with a new perspective.
I'm a long time Starkid fan, but didn't know you vlogged! I watched one, then started back tracking through the catalogue because I got hooked on the cute cozy vibes. Just want to say hi! I'll be here each week from now on, and I love your work it's been so nice to fall into your cozy world ❤
Ah I love summer and seeing how LUSH the greenery is! The forest and your garden are working it! Hope the tomatoes bounce back. (Also, Brian’s “and I’m 7 feet tall” made me laugh way harder than it should have 😅)
Lovely vlog as usual!! ❤ Kind of unrelated to the video, but I made spinach and ricotta ravioli with a lemon cream sauce for dinner tonight, which was so good, and it was inspired by some of the meals you’ve shown us in your vlogs. Thanks for all of the great food ideas!!
i admire how many books you can read in one month! i feel like i wouldnt be able to differentiate the plots from one book to the next if i was reading as fast as you do
I'm headed to Chicago for a few days this week and then to the UP next week, all for an annual girls' trip that changes locations every year. It has been a happy coincidence that I started watching your vlogs last after we settled on this location and now I am unbelievably pumped to see all these beautiful places you've featured! We're all zookeepers, so we're headed to Lincoln Park Zoo, and we have reservations at Three Dots and a Dash, but other than that, we're just exploring the city!
This video is just so cozy, lovely editing! I might check out Palia since I’ve heard some good things about it. Also can’t wait to see what you thought of Portland!
It was absolutely amazing to see y'all at Leaky Con!! I had been in a reading slump after Where the Dark Stands Still but summer books are getting me back. I've read Book Lovers and Just for the Summer and I'm taking Beach Read with me to the beach. A cozy recommendenation is Flowerheart by Catherine Bakewell, The Girl Who Fell Beneath the Sea by Axie Oh and Nettle and Bone by T. Kingfisher.
I just finished My Lady Jane! Such a fun show. I also just read Longbourn by Jo Baker which is all about the servants behind the scenes of Pride and Prejudice and a solid 4/5 stars
Your garden is looking so pretty!!! Not sure if you’ve mentioned it in previous blogs and I just missed it, but is there a specific reason you’re going to Oxford or is it just for fun?
I've collected them from different artists on Etsy or from friends who've sent me postcards, but also I did get a pack of "vintage style postcards" on Etsy when we first moved in! If you get on Etsy and type that into the search bar, you can usually find some good stuff!
I just finished What the River Knows and LOVED it!!! It was such a fun historical fiction with the just a lil splash of magic, the ending was absolutely wild and I cannot wait for the second! I have a vlog going up this weekend of me reading it 👀

I love Palia so much! The characters are so fun. I’ve been wanting to play it more but I got sort of unhealthily obsessed so I had to stop for a while
Omg! I want to get unhealthy obsessed! I finally just got a house!

Hehehe!! My tomatoes have gotten the tiniest bit of a second wind- so I hope they continue to produce!!

Your garden is looking so pretty!!! Not sure if you’ve mentioned it in previous blogs and I just missed it, but is there a specific reason you’re going to Oxford or is it just for fun?
I was supposed to go for work but unfortunately I ended up having to cancel! I hope to go someday soon though!!
Love the vlog as always! Just wondering where you got those lil postcards from in your office space? (at 13:14 ) I think they look so cute!
I've collected them from different artists on Etsy or from friends who've sent me postcards, but also I did get a pack of "vintage style postcards" on Etsy when we first moved in! If you get on Etsy and type that into the search bar, you can usually find some good stuff!
sorry to be that guy having a hard time audio processing but you could write down the titles of the books you read please? :)
Yes- I usually show a graphic of the covers with the titles on them but I sometimes miss some! Sorry about that!
I just finished What the River Knows and LOVED it!!! It was such a fun historical fiction with the just a lil splash of magic, the ending was absolutely wild and I cannot wait for the second! I have a vlog going up this weekend of me reading it 👀
