Hi really good video on dismantling ISO. I have the Zenit TTL camera can you help to show me how to put the ISO mechanism back together please. There is a bearing and a spring I can’t see where they need to go. Would you know anything about the TTL body please?
If you have a stuck winding dial, like the one on my camera. Then, you can put the camera securely in a padded vice and use a pin or O-ring pick and a hammer to gently persuade it to twist clockwise. If you took apart the bottom like me, you would have to wedge the gear with a small screwdriver. Good luck. It will take more force than you are comfortable with, but the camera will be fine the gears are metal.
Use simple tweezer or find pliers for retaining rings - small one. Very easy. Don't find too complicated and too special tools - they could be very expensive )))
Great video! It made the disassembly so easy.
At 0:55 I took out the inner stick and closed the compartment. Now I can't open it. Is there another way to open it?
my shutter speed dial has come off and im not sure what the default setting is. can anyone help?
I have the same problem
Thank You. Super helpful

Hey what kind of tool do you use to open the thumb dial at 2:28? :)

I can't open the screw at 2:38. What tool are you using? Did you use a lot of force?
Impossible for me too. I absolutely destroyed the screw and I still can't open it. Do you know what tool he is using?
@@sirkonradjdm5824 "make a similar tool" using sweing needles, weird hack that works
Same here...no hope

@Levi Cranston I had to watch it twice to make sure, it goes "righty loosy".. could that be the problem?
What is this tool which you use in 2:54 to unscrew left-threaded screw on frame counter?
hi! 1:42 Can you tell me what that is? I can't see it because it's out of focus. It looks like a bead, right?
The lower light of my Lightmeter is always on… I’m using 2x LR43 batteries 1.5V.. is there a way to fix this?
The system with the paperclip at 4:33 didn't work for me and the coiled spring has unwound a bit. Any suggestions?
didn't work for me either. did you manage to solve it? if yes, could you tell me how?
What's the thing inside the ISO dial, that you pick up with the screw magnet?
I was going to do this to clean oil in the prism.. is there an easy way to do it instead?
This is the easy way, the onyl thing you should worry about is the film advance lever spring
Use divider caliper for 2:38
Helped me. Thank you
