    I watched this video a couple of weeks ago and just didn't get it. I couldn't understand it. Now with having experience in the stock market I finally understand exactly what I'm supposed to do. Thank you so much!

    How do I place a stop loss when selling a call option? Do you have a video on this.

      When you create the order you can right click on the Bid price and select Sell custom, and select With stop.

    I'm just learning to trade multiple legs.
    If I place a limit order on a four leg bearish trade.(Spy)
    And I also play some limit order on a four-legged bullish trade. (Spy)
    On the platform is there a way to separate the two different orders. So I can watch the change in price on the bullish trade and watch the difference in price on the bearish trade separately
    In the monitor's tab It just shows all the legs together.
    Any way to separate them back into a group like I did when I placed the limit order to open them?

      Go to the action menu at the top of the Position Statement, make sure that New Layout and Show Groups are selected, then Group Symbols by Spreads. ^BW

    Can you place a stop loss sell and a limit sell to take profit on the same position?

    • @CharlesSchwab
      @CharlesSchwab  6 місяців тому

      Yes you can. If you right click on the Ask price when opening a position, a window will appear with several options. If you hover over Buy Custom, a second window will appear with OCO Bracket, and from there you can create a stop and limit order. On an existing position you can right click on the price and then hover over Create closing order which will bring up the With OCO Bracket option to create a stop and limit order where one cancels the other.

    There is no option to adjust the stop loss by moving the level up or down from the chart itself, right?

    • @CharlesSchwab
      @CharlesSchwab  6 місяців тому +1

      Actually, you can move a stop up or down by dragging the price on the chart. ^CH

    What does it mean " TO OPEN"?

    • @CharlesSchwab
      @CharlesSchwab  4 місяці тому

      "To Open" indicates creating an order to initiate a new position, as opposed to "To Close" which indicates closing an existing position. ^BW

    This is so blurry. I can tell it's good content but can't keep watching.

    • @CharlesSchwab
      @CharlesSchwab  8 місяців тому +1

      We are sorry to hear that it was blurry. We reviewed the video and it was clear on our end, so we suspect what created the blur was UA-cam dropping the video quality due to low bandwidth. You can click on the gear icon in the lower right area of the UA-cam video window, then in the pop up window, click on "Quality". Typically, this setting is on "Auto" which can create poor video quality if it drops below 720. As a possible solution you might want to test it from a different computer or find and area with faster/stronger internet connection and make sure the UA-cam video quality is above 720. Thanks for inquiring. ^BC
