    I have looked at multiple videos and just couldn't figure out the right way to do this until I watched your video. I have found oftentimes videos that are made by artists and not by someone affiliated with the company selling the products give the best instructions. I know this is several years old, but I wanted to let you know that you really helped me. Thank you. 🙂

    Thank you so much! I'm making my own jewelry for the first time and I bought cord that was far too thick for the crimp beads I bought. This video saved me a lot of trouble!!

    It's a rainy day in Georgia as the song says, so I am looking at old videos and I ran across this one. I love the way you store your cords. If you don't mind, I will store my cords the same way. Great idea. Thanks for sharing.

    I use the little tiny ones, and I really like them. I use a little glue before crimping, just to make sure...

    One thing that is helpful is to be sure the interior measurement of your finding is at least or maybe a little more than the size of your cord. They usually have an EM and an IM.

    Great info. I was trying to figure out how to use these and how to match up cording size with cap size. I guess it's not exactly straightforward, lol.

      Hope you found it helpful! If you have the cord and finding both in hand, it's easy enough to find what fits. But if you're trying to buy it online, not so much. Some sites will give helpful info, like inside diameter, but not all are accurate.

    Sandy, thank you for this video. Can you please tell me what size crimp ends to buy for 2mm cord? Or, better yet, if you have a link to a product that will work w/ 2mm cord, that would be even better. It's not clear when I look at the product pages. Thanks!

    Where do you get those crimps from?

    • @SandyHuntress
      @SandyHuntress  Рік тому

      You can get crimps at any craft store, like Michaels or Hobby Lobby. You can also get them online, at Amazon, for example amzn.to/3WYuTpq

    Where did you get the "hook clasp" shown at 4:39 in the video? It looks more like a buckle. Thanks.
