Hi Raghav,
Wonderful session.
Wanted to know if automatic screenshot options are there in Lambda for manual functional testing.
Thanks a lot in advance.
Hi Padma, I believe there is. Check this www.lambdatest.com/automated-screenshot
www.lambdatest.com/support/docs/chrome-extension/
@@RaghavPal Instead of manually capturing screenshot by clicking of screenshot icon , Is there any way to automatically capture screenshot of pages when doing manual testing?
Hi Padma, you will have to choose which screen you need to take screenshot. Can check more on chat support
Hi Raghav , nice video, quick question would it be possible to integrate cucumber-jvm (parallel execution of scenarios) with lambda test?
Yes, you should be, Can check more on documentation or take help of the chat option
Thanks Raghave, it was so useful. I have a question: Lambda uses emulators instead of real devices for testing mobile applications, what's your opinion about it?
HI Azam, I believe they have both emulators and real device, Can check with the support
Hi Raghav, thanks for the video. Just wanted to ask if we have such tools like lamdatest/ BrowserStack in Azure or AWS cloud for performing both manual and automated testing? Have seen "AWS Device Farm" but it is only for automation. In Azure I didnt find much. Please let me know.
Yes Saurabh, they have options, I have personally used Browserstack, where you can use the cloud devices for Manual testing
Hi Raghav,
Can we execute our automation test cases from lambdatest platform ,is there any option to do ?
Namrata
will need more details, what is your automation platform, tool, project .. Have you already tried with LambdaTest
Thank you for your lessons. I just installed the Eclipse program. But I cannot see the LampdaTest tab in the working set. How can I add this?
Or is this important?
that's okay as long as you can use and run your tests
Wonderful explanation! Thanks a lot. Do you know if Lambda Test constantly updates the supported browsers/devices? I use another one but it's so out of date and look for a reliable & maintained tool.
I believe they do , Can check with the team
Hi
Can we add any extension when performing live testing in lambda test
Suba
According to LambdaTest's documentation, during live testing, users can add browser extensions to the test environment. This allows users to test their web application with specific browser extensions enabled, which can help replicate real-world scenarios
However, it's essential to note that not all extensions may be compatible with LambdaTest's live testing environment. It's recommended to check LambdaTest's documentation and support resources for more information on supported extensions and any specific configuration requirements

@@RaghavPal thank you for the quick response. Will check the documentation.
My architecture is GitHub -> Jenkins -> Sauce Labs. When I am running bulk (15) scripts at a time from Jenkins, then atleast 5 scripts are failed randomly. Will lambda test slove this..? Becz all scripts are passes when I initiated them from local to sauce labs 1 by 1.
Should be able to use LambdaTest for this. Pls try and you can also get help from chat option in LambdaTest
@@RaghavPal
Thank q, for the reply..
Thanks for the video sir, What is the chrome plugin used to highlight screen or objects on the screen ?
thats screen tools for mac
Hi Raghav had question ,How effective this tool will be when compared to cypress ?
Hi Vini, this is for providing cloud platforms for running your tests with combination of browser and OS. Not sure how you need to compare it with Cypress
@@RaghavPal got it tnx ✌
Hi raghav,
Can we integrate test project in lambda test?
Hi Kalyan, can check this discussion forum.testproject.io/t/feature-request-lambdatest-integration-with-testproject/6486
Thanks, Raghav! Excellent Session.
Do we have any sessions related to DB Automation testing for comparing the SQL results of two different SQL server DB's.
Thanks a lot!!
Thanks Srikanth, not yet, will do it
can we use proxy on lamdatest?
You should be able to. Can check the documentation
Which tool and browser extension you use while video recording ?
I used QuickTime Abhijeet
Hello Raghav sir , i am using jatakon recoder , but it is not capturing the alert at recording time but when i play the script it appeares and fail my test script . What are other alternative to create selenium script by recording? Or can you guide me how to process further .
Test case
open Google
Enter data
And cookies appear .
Hi you can use Selenium IDE ua-cam.com/video/uO8_Dfe4pd4/v-deo.html
Suppose their are 100 test cases in many class files which is controlled by testNG runner .XML file, then how to run through testNG XML runner file ?
You can use testng.xml and run by grouping based on class, suite etc
Hi. Anyone know how to execute this kind of test in lambdatest but with a mobile device like android or IOs. Obviously scaling with lambdatest
Ferney
LambdaTest offers several ways to execute automation tests on mobile devices (Android and iOS) and scale your testing:
1. Real Device Cloud:
- Advantages: Offers real devices across various brands and OS versions for accurate testing.
- Scaling: Provides a large grid of real devices for parallel execution.
- Setup: Choose desired devices and OS versions, upload your test scripts, and run them.
2. Appium Grid:
- Advantages: Leverages your existing Appium setup and integrates with LambdaTest grid.
- Scaling: Utilizes cloud devices alongside your own devices for parallel testing.
- Setup: Connect your Appium server to LambdaTest, configure desired devices, and run tests.
3. Emulator/Simulator Testing:
- Advantages: Offers faster execution and lower cost compared to real devices.
- Scaling: Can be scaled efficiently on LambdaTest grid.
- Limitations: Might not fully replicate real device behavior.
Here's a step-by-step guide for each approach:
Real Device Cloud:
1. Create a LambdaTest account and choose a plan.
2. Select desired devices and OS versions from the device grid.
3. Upload your test scripts (e.g., Appium, Espresso, XCUITest).
4. Configure test parameters and run tests in parallel.
5. Access test results, screenshots, and recordings in the LambdaTest dashboard.
Appium Grid:
1. Configure your Appium server.
2. Connect your Appium server to LambdaTest grid.
3. Select desired devices and OS versions from the LambdaTest grid.
4. Run your existing Appium tests through the connected server.
5. Enjoy parallel execution across cloud and local devices.
Emulator/Simulator Testing:
1. Create your emulators/simulators on local machines or services like Genymotion.
2. Connect your emulators/simulators to LambdaTest grid.
3. Select desired emulator/simulator configurations.
4. Run your tests in parallel across connected emulators/simulators.
5. Analyze results as with real devices in the LambdaTest dashboard.
Additional Tips:
- Start with a small set of devices and scale gradually based on needs.
- Use LambdaTest pricing calculator to estimate costs and choose a suitable plan.
- Take advantage of LambdaTest documentation, tutorials, and support for smooth setup and execution.
- Consider combining real devices with emulators/simulators for cost-effective testing.
By following these steps and choosing the approach that best suits your requirements, you can leverage LambdaTest to effectively execute and scale your mobile automation tests on various devices and OS versions.
Do you have anything C# related please.
Not yet, will plan Shomari
Can I have lambda automation with C# OR Python, plz
Hi Sonal, I believe, you mean if you can use LambdaTest platform with C# or Python, Yes you can do, Can also check the documentation, It has good and easy to follow examples
Thanks. Your vedio is really very great and it helps alot. I learnt API testing by ur vedios.
Hi how could we use lambda emulator and simulators for mobile devices
I will need to check on this
for python ?
Yes can check more on the website and documentation
🙏👍
Thanks for watching Rishi
Is this also works with IntelliJ?
Yes, should work, can check more in Documentation
So, LambdaTest only supports browser testing? Not native app?
Hi Joel, as per the Lambdatest team, support for native apps will be available next month
