@Sixten Ålin thanks for telling me. Rich's level? I've played vs Rich's illidan when he was in europe for tournaments (GM player) in hl, this guy, is, easily above Rich. I've never been this impressed. does he have any other strong heroes or is he a onetrick? someone with that desicion-making in abilities and timing overlal has to be great at most heroes.
@Sixten Ålin when it comes to Illidan, he surely is/was above Rich. (I am not sure if Rich still plays but Fele does as far as I've seen from the vids). He plays a very good Diablo too.
JayPL and Breez, alongside Wubby, surely were underrated, Zaelia got a lot of praise here so I can't speak about it.
Idk if the right word for Rich is overrated, maybe he was looked at as something more than he really was, but when it comes to skill-level, on overall heroes, it's hard to pick someone above him to be fair, but when it comes as a complete player, I am sure there are people who are better at shot-calling, awareness, and desicion making, but skill-wise Rich really makes this game feel like he is a well-fed Dota carry (depending on the hero ofc).
Yea, I am glad that Fel gave you inspiration from the Meta-Madness, or meta-slaves as I call them. In most cases the Meta-build for Arthas is, in my opinion, pathetic. Especially the pro-scene, deathcoil or AA build give Arthas way more potential than he alreeady has.. I enjoy him as well. That seems to be a good thing about Fel, that he's no meta-slave, which most pros as well as other good players suffer from, let alone the whole player-base. I am a multiple high GM in europe (stopped in 2018 due to ludacris changes from blizz which annoyed me) but heroes like Murky, Artanis, Azmodan, Abathur, Arthas, Leoric (mostly drain-build which is very effective and a carry-build lategame) I excelled at, and different kinds of builds, ways of playing, etc. just being creative and utilizing different talents and use of abilities to my advantage, my strong-points in this game were always desicion-making/awareness with utilizing max amount of dmg, but anyway, that's just how most humans are and most top-end players are no exception to this. The most annoying part of this is, Cho'Gall, during 2018, especially at lvl 16 when Cho'Gall had his unstoppable by charging Q, that was probably the most busted Cho'Gall ever, (yes even more than now) I "mained" Gall with a friend of mine who mained Cho, for me the bst Cho ever, and I can tell you, we wiped the floor in HL (when it was duo que) and in skirmishes against pros with that Hero, but the whole pro-scene failed to even try or utilize him properly whenever they did try.. it's pathetic really. Blizzard balance team: Let's make unpopular talents op so not picking them is considered throwing. (do anyone remember ruby? sure nobody does)
Meanwhile they're doing some real shit like Gazlowe trashwork and new (read as nonexistent) Zeratul lvl 20 talents to make them op in next patch. I still remember "press q and die" Tassadar and how awful was Cassia right after rework. Also there is some kind of deja vu with two reworks released at the same time where one of them is too good and another is bad.
Some thoughts after Gall's words about "wrong 16" that pissed me off.
I think the silence on the bomb is a solid pick, but in this particular case they both didn't take any talent on the bomb so picking only the 16 bomb talent IS wrong when he took all the other talents on the bouncing ball
The thing with gall 16 is that the talent he picked is actually really good even tho the other one is better
