If there is one thing the Oki does worse than t-shirts it is mugs. I could trash talk that printer for hours...and it was half the price when I bought it. I got my dealer to find a new home for it eventually. Sold it for £1500 and was glad it was gone.
Also when 'marrying' don't turn the film before you peel it, any cold air under the film will cause failure. It is a pointless process, that looks bad and feels bad, but it is possible to prevent failures. The yanking the film thing is funny, just peel it slowly.
Lastly, re-press with a paper sheet to remove that awful gloss finish.
Thanks for the balance video, I'm glad it wasn't an Oki promotion.

Omg mugs are terrible. I can’t believe they get away with selling this terrible machine. Thanks for sharing your experience

@@SeanLoweryShow, I think long-term the answer is a magic DTG ink that doesn't need pre-treat. When that day comes I will return to garments. I'm sure some people would point out that screen printing meets that description..... there hybrid machines out there for silly money.

simple solution. Use DTG printing for light shirts with full images (8.5X11inches and larger), Use WT printer for dark shirts with small logos and left chest, laying out multiple logos on 1 large sheet.

You clearly don’t know how to marry or peel the transfer off the shirt. Your technique is totally wrong here. Your suppose to peel the transfer off as close to the shirt rolling it off. And when it comes to marrying start from one corner. Anyone who hates on oki white toner printers do know what they’re doing. With all the nonsense that comes with dtg I will stick with my oki

You will definitely get faster and make less mistakes with more experience. Another note, you don’t have to throw transfers away when a piece of image from “A” sheet (glue sheet) did not transfer to “B” sheet (transparent sheet). Just remarried that section only. I saved a ton of money by doing that.

Great video but I think with practice and and better technic your time will be reduced drastically. I've owned the 9541 a little over a year and can average 4 mins on a single shirt. Tips for cooling faster ice pack or what I do is put it in the freezer for 30 secs.

I am astonished you got that piece of shit to work. I have had mine for 3 years and not one shirt. No help from Johnsons.

Not a very accurate way to do a side by side comparison.
