    "This could have been an 8-minute video"
    Yeah, people make things take less time, when they have more time.
    Thank you, Gediminas, for all this time you spend for people to share this knowledge.

    Love your tutorials..They are raw, unfiltered and the way you solve issues, and you actually show the process of experimenting with different components is absolutely amazing

    There's definitely a lot of inspirations in the slower but deeper pace! Thank you for sharing your knowledge, sir! By the way, I think maybe sometimes you can extrude SubD by holding ctrl key during Move, Rotate or Scale so that you can use the gumball to do the trick. It's more convenient than the command "ExtrudeSubD" in my opinion :)

      @@DesignGoBrr Gediminas Thank you so much, as you said ctrl+shift works well. I had an another trouble also. when I tried to look into interior region of the closed subd surface, i can only see the surface in ghosted view as a whole, other than ghosted view, the subd surface seems fragmented and very mistaken. • @DesignGoBrr
      @DesignGoBrr  Рік тому

      If two points on a mesh(or subd) are closer then some distance from one another - they get merged into 1 vertex. Good for cleanup.

    • @DesignGoBrr

      Hmmm, make sure that you're using SubD geometry and not polysurface. If it's actually SubD that you're using then try Slide command. See if that helps

    • @DesignGoBrr

      Are you asking about the name of the program or the modeling technique? The program is Rhino 3D , the modeling technique is SubD modeling (subdivision modeling)

    • @DesignGoBrr

      If you are using an older version of Rhino (I'm using 7.9) , then try SubDInset command instead of just Inset. Should work.

    what's the difference between stitching and aligning vertices

    • @DesignGoBrr
      @DesignGoBrr  3 роки тому +1

      Stitching takes 2 vertices (that you specify) and merges them into 1. Aligning takes ALL verticies, finds pairs that are closer than the distance/tolerance (that you specify) and merges them into 1.
