- NY&A trains RS40, RS71, RS51, and RS80 are seen in chronology. Those are pretty much the trains that are run outside of the wee hours out on Long Island. Love the GP38’s!!!!
Awesone display of NY&A action!! The fast Emus are a highlight too!#😀😀♥️♥️
I live a few blocks away from the Central and this crossing--love hearing those diesel horns! Great video.
Excellent video!
I know right
0:04 I usually see the freighter every now and then back when I use to deliver amazon packages around that area. I get pretty lucky sometimes I’ll have my lunch while it’s switching around and take some action shots.
I don’t care what anyone says I love the MUs with a passion, hearing them go by at a crossing at 80 mph blasting their horns is one of the best sounds ever
yep
Nicely done bud. Real nice oh and those 2 switches i remember them back in the day when i Lived in Ridgewood Queen's at the yard in fresh pond rd love those paint schemes
22:51 in my opinion that MP15's K5LA sounds very similar to NJ Transit
Your videos are always informative and inspirational. This one brightened my day today!
Glad to do it
Always nice to see video of our sister railroad since I don’t get out to the island too often.
Wow epic catches
Great video excellent work
that horn sound familair 22:57
Train drivers trying to make the train satisfying everytime they see railfanners
Your videos keep getting better and better, what a great surprise with SW1001 101. Also, you accidentally put 2022 in the title lol.
Dumb stupid luck is what it is.
Lol
Great catches Tim! You are right, MUs are entertaining at 80mph
Awesome
18:35 i whoud like to know where this is it looks fun to go to
Great the m9 I am looking for that
What does “make a set out” mean?
Dropping cars off
Miss the M3s.
Once this Covid crap dissipates hopefully they will return again
@@3985uprr Do you know if Metro-North's are in service?
@@ariesarethebest271 very much so. I saw sone on Hudson Line last month. They look better than LI M3’s
@@3985uprr I agree. They're beautiful. Hope they serve for many more years.
@@ariesarethebest271 The GP38’s are some of the best engines built. Engineers loved them when they were in passenger service. Just about every engineer I’ve spoken to will take an EMD over a GE. I am total agreement. It bugs me that so many railroads rely on GE. CSX and BNSF are 2 examples. Admittedly GE was able to successfully manufacture a highly fuel efficient loco when they made the Gevos/Tevos. GM has not been as successful. Only UP and CSX have the T4 model and not too many of them. Hopefully GM will bounce back. NS and UP have quite a few GM’s in freight service. UP has about 2000 SD70M’s/SD70ACE’s combined.
