She's so damn personal and at ease no matter where she is. Shes been a huge gain in country music. She's unbelievably grounded and so is her music. Also she has a wonderful sense of humor that also mirrors her music. She's a total bad ass!!!! I don't care for this new bunch of so called country music. She's a breath of fresh air. She's also very humble and absolutely deserved her induction to the Grand Old Opry!!! Thank you Mcbryde.

I lost my mother a year on July 26th and this song would have been one that she would have held close to her heart. She always left the light on in the kitchen and always told us to follow the light home. Thank you for this song, I feel her every time I hear this song as well as when I walk into my kitchen.
Makes me think of my grandma and mom, they always ended up in the kitchen and left a light on. We told each other I love you every time we saw each other and hung up on the phone. My God I miss them so much. I leave a light on, and this beautiful song just brings that all together. I love your music so very much Ashley, you always have a story. I have no one in my life anymore like my mama and grandma. I’m mostly on my own now. Your music helps heal me 🥺

What an amazing name for a song and the idea behind it! 😊 I always have my light 💡 on in the kitchen & my little night lights, my mom always had her lights on in her kitchen & dining room (they we’re connected) .. and My mom has been gone since 2000~ she was literally a living Angel. My parents loved their country western music 🎶 and I’m so happy it’s made such a HUGE comeback since the 80’s~ I Love this song and I love Ashley too!! ❤

She's from up around Hardy, AR. That's NE Arkansas. Her Momma she said is now in Fort Smith, AR which is western AR. Her dad's family is from around El Dorado, she said. My brother-in-law is from Hardy and used to watch her perform at a little bar there. Said she was damn good then
