Yes, plenty of times. I just don't advise it in the video, because someone will watch the video and might attempt with a bad jack. To be on the safer side, put an old wheel or cinder blocks underneath the frame, if you can't get jack stands. Just something strong enough to hold the car, if the jack fails. Which is rare, but does happen for emergency jacks or not maintained hydraulic jacks.
Breaker bar and you have to be very strong to get the caliper bracket bolts out. 118 ft lbs was perfect for mine with harbor freight manual torque wrench, the biggest longest one. Careful on your fenders and fenderwells. They are Very fragile and very expensive. Use SILICONE gease on the slide pins and hardware, use anti squeel greese on the pad shims and caliper piston face, dont need much too much is bad. It was my front, both rotors warped.
What a great video. You were quick and to the point and made it very simple. I love videos like this. Keep it up man.
Very nice instructional vid mate... keep on keeping on... thx!

What is the best rotor and brake pad for my 2016 IS300 AWD FSPORT?
I got mine from rockauto. They have a section that tell you which ones are economy or the best.
Why do my rear brakes look different than your? My car is 2015 Lexus is250
That's his front
Make sure you clean your rotors with brake cleaner guys.

R1 Concepts.........good stuff..
Have you done the rears yet??
Actually planning to do the rears next month when I return from mexico, because they were squeaking before I left the country when I reversed.
@@NicolasKeeton Yes me too when I reverse I hear that squeak
Hvala čovek žive ti nama
Anyone done it with one jack with one axel raised at a time ?
Yes, plenty of times. I just don't advise it in the video, because someone will watch the video and might attempt with a bad jack.

# silicone lubricant, not geese. A goose will not work at all for the slide pins. They come in packets at the auto stores.
🤔 The front calipers on my 2014 IS350 fsport has 4 pistons and massive compared to this.
IS350 is calipers are bigger
Do you change the rotors every time you change the pads? Nice video!
No, but I had warped rotors, so I replaced them
@@NicolasKeeton you didn’t have to bleed the brakes?
@@carlacoffey5360 No, you only need to bleed if you have air in brake line. Usually from replacing hose or caliper.
Not 300?
is 200 and 300, should be exactly the same.
