Fun fact, GameMill Entertainment also published another contender for worst game of 2023, The Walking Dead: Destinies. It has a higher Metacritic score than Rise of Kong, but the only outlet that reviewed both games (IGN) gave Destinies 20% and Rise of Kong 30%.

I do understand that this game is bad. However, this game is not below Gollum. Gollum was put out as a AAA game, this has never pretended to be anything close to a AAA game. Maybe it posture itself as a AA game, which was also false, but this doesn’t use King Kong or the Kong from the Monsterverse movies, it’s just public use Kong. I’m not sure if this game is worse than Gollum, I have not played this one, but Gollum is unforgivable for what it was presented as. It is absolutely the number one worst game last year. This game was made from a company called f*cking Game Mill. Mills churn things out. They’re not even hiding that they’re an absolute shite publisher. Game Mill…. I mean, f*ck off to anyone who is a high up, decision maker in that company. It’s like if I opened a sandwich shop called Sh!t Sandwiches, and I sold awfull sandwiches. Don’t buy a sandwich from Shit Sandwiches. Don’t buy a game from a publisher called Game Mill.

The silent hill game wasn't trivializing its themes, it wasn't supposed to be a realistic depiction of bullying, this was meant to represent the overwhelming burden the victim feels on one's self after a prolonged exposure to abuse.
You guys literally got the gang together to have a laugh while playing that game which to me comes off as more so insensitive tbh. I mean your stance on the project was kind of all over the place. If you can't be stoic and reserved about a game about this sort of thing then please just don't play them on channel. There's a reason channels like mind pulp didn't go near it.
