  • You can make 1,000 pipes, but if you can't sell them, then it doesn't mean much! Artist might hope that they can sell them all online or at an event, but it just doesn't happen that quick! Thats why I have made this video. So that you can see one of the most important parts of actually making a career as a pipe maker.
    In this video I am showing you two shops that I am selling my ceramic pipes to. If your in the Salt Lake Valley, look up the shops I go to and support them by purchasing one of my pipes. You can also visit my website you have your own pipe shipped to you ( ceramicsmokewa....
    Thanks for watching, comment any tips on how I can make my videos better, or what you want to see for the next video. If you watched the whole video then like and go watch Part 2 where I will stop in 3 shops instead of 2!

    I gotta say dude you make some Q U A L I T Y pieces! I was smoking and I had my bowl in the open window (first mistake) and the wind blew and it rolled out of my second story window and when I went outside to see how damaged it was. IT WAS STILL PERFECTLY IN TACT.

    Rule of thumb is shops pay about 50% of retail. People need to realize that when you're buying a piece you're not only supporting that shop but also the artist who's main sales come from bulk wholesale. Everyone needs to eat and you as a pipe owner need to support your local shops and artists.

    • @216tom8
      @216tom8 6 років тому +26

      Weed paraphernalia sells itself to be honest. He's coming off more genuine and like a true artist when he doesn't come at your throat when trying to sell you something

    • @kski9657
      @kski9657 6 років тому +1

      h6 h7 a sales pitch doesn’t have to be cut throat at all. It’s simply being enthusiastic in the product and showing reasons why the ceramic pipes are better than your “average joe” pipe. If I was looking at a big box of pipes I want to know which ones are good and why. It really just comes down to enthusiasm and most people would think of it as a artist being passionate about his art.

    • @216tom8
      @216tom8 6 років тому +1

      Kski that’s a good point! He could have been way more enthusiastic. Especially when he’s on the phone too. But I see what you mean. Could have upped why his product is a good buy. I personally prefer glass so I’m curious as to why I should try ceramic but now that I think about it, I didn’t learn much from this video on that

      Nicholas Athorp it's not just thickness. It's type of glass and impurities. You can machine mold a thick brick of glass with holes in it and I gurantee you it'll be just as fragile as any thin piece. That won't be the case if it was hand blown however.

    Lmao you said a perk for the ceramic over glass is that you can't see it get dirty. That is one of the worst points ever. Just clean your damn piece when it's dirty! If anything that is a down side to ceramic since you can't really see when it's time to clean.

      CeramicSmokeWare Glass is not ceramic...... Surprised you dont know this. The glaze does make a glass like finish though. There is a reason people go through all of the trouble learning the art of glassblowing. And every shop I have ever been to wont sell ceramic pipes.
