Honestly yeah I think the same World Painted Blood was great even though Christ Illusion was even better. Anything with the original lineup is just instantly gonna be amazing Honestly.

Its kind of nice to know that Tom Araya can actually hit a note if he wants to I think he is very conscious of when he is hitting a note (with his singing) and when he is just screaming The verse vocal line does have a melody to it...
I think he was more precise and capable as a singer to begin with, compared to other thrash vocalist. His early 80s' covers were pretty melodic, but he's singing style with slayer was also very demanding which wore him off pretty quick. But even without vocal precision he has one of the most unique voices in the metal world by far and he'll always be a favorite of mine.
Came here and waited almost over 4 1/2 minutes just to see Dave murder the last 10 seconds of this song. All for a 3 second clip. I'm happy. 5/5 Would watch again.
Dave Lombardo is a better drummer then Lars Ulrich and they are around the same age in their 50's. Lombardo still does fast double bass like he is some young dude lol but he is old. so why can Lars not do double bass?
because Dave is a technical godfather of drums and Lars is simply... not. I know Lars is important for Metallica because he is not a bad songwriter and I even think he kinda fits into Metallica but technically Dave is just another level!

In retrospect, it’s shocking that it took Slayer two and a half decades to write a song about Countess Bathory. Most metal bands get on that topic right away.
Hanneman said he had wanted to write a song about her for a long time, but he wasn’t sure he could write good lyrics. He didn’t feel like he could write the lyrics the way a woman would write them.
Is it really essential to hit continuously on the hi hat or ride cymbals? LOL why do these drummers waste so much energy. In general i like the sound of the snare and bass drum and toms. Splash, crash and china cymbals are also hit now and then for fills Lars overdo fills all the time lol. When you are doing a drum solo then you can show off all sorts of shit, but in the music combined with other instruments it might sometimes drown out your drums causing people not to hear what you are doing. Martin Skaroupka from Cradle of Filth does the same thing he hits wayyy too much on all the cymbals in the music. He is a very talented drummer but it's also like these guys are playing for themselves lol they don''t care if you hear it or not.
Modern day RIB!? Songs like Human Strain and Playing With Dolls, and Americon are piles of shit! And the repeating end lyrics to this song and Snuff are terrible (though it's more effective on Beauty than Snuff).
