Direction Change Game

This technique enables you to swiftly and safely move yourself and your dog away from a situation or distraction while maintaining your dog's full attention.
First, this is a quick 180˚ turn into your dog where you are starting off with your dog on one side (left side) and switch when turned to have your dog on your other side (right side), your dog turns into you and stays on the same line just turning almost on the spot 180˚.
Secondly, we pivot our dog 180˚ so that they are facing us as we move backwards feeding at our side. This allows us to keep an eye on any distractions or converse with someone to ask them to move away, etc.
