One Ski- tip of ski against the rope, arms fully extended, knees up against your chest. "Let it Happen Captain!" When your shoulders are out of the water- stand up.
So on my first several attempts, my body wanted to role over in the water, which left me with the skis on top of my and me on my belly. This was before the boat started to pull up slack. How do I stay stable when I am waiting for the boat to pull up slack?
@@Nayteforu Thanks! I will likely have to wait until next summer to try again. I had to go out on a fire assignment and the water has probably turned now!
I can get up on the water every time, but I cannot for the life of me turn! I drop down off the table and immediately eat it and cartwheel, or get a lake water enema. I am always in pain the next few days
It's a rude awakening moving from a "normal," boat to a tournament level ski boat. I like how you mentioned things for the driver, engaging the forward gear can pull A LOT more than a normal boat, which can really unsettle a beginner before you've even "hit it"
Thank you for the great pointers as I'm going to try it this weekend . Have skied in the past like 40 years ago so your video sure helps !
Awesome!.
Thank you
I haven't been on skis in over 20yrs. And even when I did I had no clue what I was doing
