Since I ve started following your instructions and tutorials my figures started to improve a mountain. Now I can draw many poses and catch the flow without even needing a ref.

I've been watching this videos on how to draw the body and the sketch with me ones a lot lately, I'm really trying to improve my capacity of drawing the figure, and have you talking about your process when first learning and how you see things is really helping me, it can be really overwhelming to make sense of all the knowledge needed to draw the body for one who is "self" teaching themselves like I'm trying to, Real thx, and your figures are just beautiful, your art in general to me is one of the most aesthetic pleasing out there.
This is great, I am learning to draw and enjoy the journey! I will be watching many more of your videos! great stuff.

It helps alot when you draw figures and constantly change the perspective or pose. You hit certain landmarks or curves that are hard to visualize. So, thanks, man!

I mean proko is really good at teaching you the concepts, but reiq teaches you how to actually draw it instead of just showing off his awesome drawing skills and assuming any idiot can follow along with ease.
@@cestarianinhabitant5898 yea i think reiq is really good because he sticks with one topic at a time and doesnt worry about putting everything into a 10min video. when watching proko and people like moderndayjames i feel like it's just them showing how they do things for people who are at a very high level already

Make an arm and hand tutorial! That's the only tutorial that hasn't been explained. And thanks to your great explanation on the muscles, I understand more on how and where I can place each part of the body perfectly. Also can someone tell me when Reiq's stream is online? M(P.S. I'm in SEA)

Yes, no one really can say, this is how you draw 'this.' Because really, what they're saying is, "This is how you draw 'this,' my way" ...Great Artwork, by the way... "Keep it up!"
Yep beware of how to draw tutorials. A good tutorial should give you tools to use in every drawing. If you are interested you can go on S michael hamptons channel and see the way he constructs the body. The key words are gesture and structure, his videos have no audio but you can see the process

Could if you ever find the time make another tutorial going even depeer into drawing the torso? I feel what you said at the start is exactly what I struggle with aswell. I keep feeling im missing something when drawing the torso i've drawn it a thousand times over watched every tutorial 10 times but I still feel i havent mastered it.

I struggled with this before though as a cartoonist I look at style rather than realism. I broke away from the college/book training to mimic various styles like French, Japanese, feminist, 1930-50's popart, etc. Cause each have a form that can be extracted into understand what make a figure. I found what I needed and stopped building forms in the traditional way. Maybe that's all you need to do.

I have no knowledge of the anatomy I can't draw the human body but I've gotten lucky in some of my drawings...
I also wanted to ask if I practice the human body from references, if I do that would I get good at drawing the body if I wanted to come up with my own poses?

Hello Reinaldo, I think you should advice to use photographs of real people as models so starting artists get a "feeling" of the human anatomy and what's "right", and once they get the "feel" of how the human body looks and works they should start doing their own thing (like going on a cartoonish, sexy, animesque routes).
