This is actually amazing, science is awesome! Look how happy these fighters are, they make weight easy, get to eat better than they normally could during that process and overall I have to imagine this is so much healthier than the old days & old ways of weight cutting.

Instead of praising the rehydration process, how about talking about how ridiculous and dangerous the whole dehydration process to cut weight is? It hurts performance AND health. The fighters should just be required to hold their weight for much longer around the fights.
I was thinking the exact same thing. They've literally invested so much money into these processes to hydrate fighters after weigh-in, but they won't bring in hydration testing. It's literally insanity. They are praising their treatment of something that they could easily and totally prevent.

You shouldn’t be at weight the night before. Huge disadvantage. Plus you’re gonna suffer all night and morning. When you sleep you will lose 2-3 pounds. Then you can do light cardio 1-2 pounds before weigh in. After weigh in rehydrate and eat and have a huge weight advantage In The octagon.
