The boat trip we take you on is from Oludeniz to Butterfly Valley in Turkey.
The organized daily boat trips are a fantastic and inexpensive way to enjoy the beautiful turquoise waters on holiday, soaking up the sunshine while taking in the stunning scenery. They are great value and worth every penny!
This trip was booked directly through the travel company Deep Blue who are based in Oludeniz resort (links to their website are below).
The seven hour boat trip stops in popular bays for the opportunity to do some swimming and snorkeling, lunch was served on board the boat, then a chance to explore the famous Butterfly Valley, do bear in mind Butterfly Valley can get very busy in the height of season!
The trip cost an unbelievable 150 turkish lira for each person, which is approximately £15 depending on the current exchange rate and includes your lunch, not drinks.
So next time your in Turkey, make sure you consider a boat trip...you wont regret it.

Love going to Butterfly 🦋 valley
This particular tour has a special place in my heart because it was what my boyfriend booked for my first “grownup” holiday in 2012. Now we have a toddler who can’t be trusted on a boat but I’m looking forward to doing something like this again in the future.
My girlfriend and I first visited this place ten years ago. She's now my wife and we and our three girls just returned from Oludeniz only just last week - like you said, too young for a boat trip but that just means we have another reason to go back :)

My last 7 season spent there selling excursions. There is paragliding as well. 6000 feet from the ground flying half an hour in the sky. Its a must 😊

I joint a 2 nights/3 days Gulet/wooden Turkish yacht cruise in June 2019 along these coast line. There were 3 yachts sailing from the same company in the same direction, I sailed the normal people, 2 Aussies couples, South African dad+ 2 teenage boys, 2 New Yorkers, we played music when we were swimming. The other party boast (louder than what's on this video) were young Kiwis & Aussies, they party with loud music non stop! They brought wine glasses & wine as they hiked up St Nicholas island. Our first night, we anchored by St Nicholas island, the party boat was playing loud music passed midnight. Suddenly, the 3rd boat with South African mom & her daughters + other older guest sailed away in the dark, because they can't sleep! LOL We only found out the next day from our captain, who looked like Jesus :) The second night they party again soon as dinner was over, this time our yachts anchored side by side at Kas harbor, the party boat invited us to hop over to joint them dancing, I worried about the yacht will sink since so many had joined them dancing. They continue to party at the bar in town and partying until 2AM, it was such an epic trip
When I was in fethiya about 4 year ago, there was a group of 10 of us, we just book a private boat to our self though tinyakopol, the boat left form fethiya, it cost about £170 which came to £17 each, most body trip cost about _10 but we'll worth it

Such beautiful scenery and water...unbelieveable blues!! I was a bit disappointed with Butterfly Valley. I've wanted to visit it, but seeing all the campers and visitors has put me off...too crowded and a big scruffy. Looking forward to your next video.

I'd highly recommend a trip to the green canyon near Manavgat. Reminds me of Lake bled in Croatia.

I took a private boat, so much better me and the mrs, I can't remember the price but was either 350 -400 tl. Which is soo cheap. Went to the kelibekler area did that hike to that waterfall. Was awesome. It's a real shame I'm 33 and still don't know how to swim haha

Merhaba... nice video.. in 1994 i ended up in Oludeniz for 2 months (backpacked Athens to Sth Africa) helping out at a bar (beer and food and a tent was the salary) and my friends were scattered across the other bars working.. one day we were warned the gendarme were going to crack down on us illegals so our Turkish employees dropped us all of at Butterfly Valley where we camped for a few nights until the gendarme crack down was finished. Butterfly Valley had no dwellings back then - it was magical. Have returned to Turkey a few times since then (last trip 2019 via Georgia to Iraqi Kurdistan). Great memories of Turkey and look forward to returning again and again and again and again.. Gule Gule..
We have booked to come to Calis in mid June. We have done boat trips from Oludeniz, Fethiye, and Calis. We much prefer the small family run boats from Calis where the Captain’s wife cooks lunch, and the boats are much smaller. We are praying that Boris resumes flights to Turkey, as at the moment, travel to Europe is in doubt, but we are praying that Turkey gets the go ahead.
Hope Turkey keeps rolling out their vaccines. We will have had out two vaccinations so hopefully we will see you in June!

I think that swimming in that part of the Mediterranean is the calmness of the sea, and the turquoise crystal clear water. Our skipper threw a piece of bread into the sea, a fish floated up to get it. In many bay, the boat looks like it's floating on air, it was mesmerizing to watch.

Hi M & T. We stay at Hisaronu and hire our own boat for the day sailing from Fethiye (about 8 to 10 of us) We have the same skipper each year. The food and places he takes us to are like paradise. Not keen on the pirate boats due to the incessant music. (like you said). How is the cable car and the dug up sea front coming along? We are due out there early June--all being well.
