In the episode, she also teaches me the concept of "care with consent," which is about allowing a dog to choose the way they are handled and interacted with. Different from cooperative care, care with consent is not always enthusiastic on the dog's part but consent is an important step in our bonding and enjoying our relationships with our dogs.
