I'm experimenting with the idea of a small FPV drone that can be sub 250g AUW with a small battery, while also being able to carry a gopro and larger battery when needed.
This carbon fiber frame is another step forward with this project. This isn't quite a proof of concept yet, but getting closer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I made a drone last week . It has a 2 watt radio booster with xmplus and a gps return to home . I tried a walksnail but the fc is bf v 4.0.3
You need a computer to change that they say . Pretty bad . So i am using a button controlled 5804 800mW analog vtx . Elrs gets 50 miles thus outra ge 450 mile range

Very cool project dude! And it flies good too! Yesterday I told myself that it's time to design my own 4" freestyle frame because I'm not satisfied with the AOS 4 frame I'm using. I'm getting the hang of FreeCAD, as I've already designed several antenna mounts, GPS, lidar/optical flow mounts, stack adapters, etc. So now it's time for a frame. I know it will take a while and I'll make a lot of mistakes.
BTW, I destroyed one of those GNB 930 packs last week, so I took off the plastic wrapper and some of the padding and found out it weighed 7 grams less! I'll be doing that get my Flyfish Atlas 4 under 250 grams.
Anyway, looking forward to seeing your design update.
