Get to know the Code Enforcement Officer. He can tell you where the problem properties are. Sometimes they don’t want to fine people and would rather get a hold of someone who will do it for free.
In Idaho, we just put up a sign reading "Wildflower Habitat Do Not Mow/Spray". Not sure there is a code enforcement officer for tall grass. 😊😊
Hey Fill! I am not sure about everyone else, but me personally, I would totally enjoy watching regular lawn care videos. I don't mind if the property is not super over grown. I know that is popular right now, but I kind of find it refreshing to see some nice yards and just seeing the pretty scenery out there in Idaho!
Those are some interesting points that you made. Things that wouldn't dawn on you unless you owned one. You may have spared someone a lot of expense. Thanks for the info!
Be safe, stay well and God Bless, you. ❤🤍💙
I love your honesty in this review. Too often when you get something sent to you free from a company People have a hard time being honest about their review. You obviously are not one of those. Thank you.
This is for a professional that’s invested in Toro’s eco system. With the beat mowers and snow blowers, Toro’s system is my favorite. Stihl a close second.
Great video, enjoyed the talking parts! You do excellent work, as always! Stay cool!❤❤❤
Enjoyed watching the video 😊
You make more sense then anyone about the battery equipment, I've' just not made any moves on it!
To not find overgrown properties is great! I realize that in your area it super dry, but it also shows you are making a difference! Aloha Braddah!
I subscribe to your other channels and I just found this one. I think this one with the behind the scenes and the explanation that you give is going to be my favorite. So thank you very much for having us. I am not a professional. I don't even do my own lawn. I wish I could but health reasons keep me from doing it myself. That doesn't mean I don't find it extremely interesting to know the facts and why you do various things. Thank you so very much.
I would always check the price of the lawn tools because I know they are expensive
Fill, to your comments on batteries, I am finding that batteries are becoming the 'ink cartridge refill' of power tools. You buy the tool at a reasonable price, then their batteries cost a fortune to purchase because you NEED THEM to operate the item. Manufacturers know this, especially with the shift more and more to battery/electric tools etc. Great vid mate, stay well !
My Black and Decker battery powered tools are not big boy toys, but they start every time, get the task they were designed for done and a 20v battery usually outlasts me. Sometimes I need to work smart to find easier workarounds, but that is true with any power tool. I always have extra batteries, but seldom use them.
From my experience with an electric motorcycle, you can't know how much it will cost a new battery pack in a few years. In my case it was nearly 30% more in less than 3 years
I appreciate the info. I figure since you're a pro you know what you're talking about. 😊
Regarding the cost of replacement batteries, I have a 40volt Ryobi Expand-it string trimmer that I bought in the summer of 2020. It came with a 4mah battery and single charger. If the battery goes bad, it is actually cheaper for me to buy a whole new trimmer with the battery and charger, than it would be for me to buy a replacement battery, unless I buy a risky aftermarket battery on Amazon.
kress have a 876 CFM backpack blower but it looks like a huge blower
For me I perfer gas then electric battery power especially when I do 6 lawns in my neighborhood. My mower blower and weedeater are all toro gas fueled powered.
Very informative...🥰
Thank you for the info! Really found it very informative between the comparisons of battery verses gas blowers! Enjoyed the mowing, edging, and blowing! Nice manicured lawns! Interesting insight on battery equipment 🤔thanks!
Don’t forget your gloves 🧤
What do you think about adding green turf paint to the makeovers since everything is dry? 😊
I have a DeWalt battery operated blower. I do love it but the battery does run down fast. Because of the cost of the batteries I went to a much cheaper generic 9AU battery. I could buy four of those batteries for the price of just one name brand. So far I've only had one generic go out on me. So I love the generics and you might consider buying generic batteries for your unit. Just a thought. I use the 9AU because it lasts a whole lot longer and I can get my entire backyard done with just one battery.
Our ET has been 2.6 for weeks
😊 there are also more moving parts in a gas blower than in a electric or battery-powered one. With more parts moving there are more chances of a breakdown. At least that's the way I see it. How do you see it?
Cut off about 6" off of the end of that tube and you should be good.
Won't drag anymore.
Question:
Can you do a video on how you get your clothing so clean ?
I wear florescent green shirts and gloves and haven't found a good way to get them clean.
Wet green grass really stains everything.
I soak my gloves (Wells Lamont FX3) in a 5 gallon bucket with Borax for 24 hours, drain & rinse, refill and soak another day with both Borax and Dawn dish washing soap... it seems to help some.
Uncle Vic
Great stuff bro
Hello from tractor man lawn care business person
Do you not repair sprinkler heads and sprinkler problems on your customers property? I mean as opposed to telling them to stop watering on a section, I would think that you would simply fix the sprinkler heads. Can you explain that to me. Thank you, and thank you for your great videos. I'm new to this channel of yours and I really do love the explanations.
Just ask for more money for the lawn care. Tell them you’re gas ⛽️ free. 😂
Thank you
❤
My son and I prefer gas powered !!
What do you recommend for weed killer?
They can keep it...
Do you think toro gets a little irritated with your honest reviews of their equipment?
Battery operated lawn products are so expensive and over rated
