- We designed and built a bird playhouse to improve our relationship with the local wildlife in our small backyard garden. In this video, we'll share the whole story about design thoughts, material selection, the DIY-making process, and of course real bird interaction under different weather!

The multifunctionality is wonderful. It's great that you included a water cup in the design. My apartment complex has a lot of bird feeders hanging around, but at least in our section, our solar fountain is the only steady drinking water for them. Fortunately, birds don't seem to care if they're getting a drink across from someone having a bath.
Hahahah I was wondering the other day, they doesn’t mind drinking the bath water from other birds, solar fountain is a good idea, i will look more into it

Great video! I dream of having my own place someday so I can garden and have chickens. It's very difficult where I live to grow the foods I want without additional support-I live in southern Arizona in the Sonoran Desert and most of the crops I want to grow simply cannot handle the heat. I can grow tomatoes and peppers like anything though, but sadly I cannot eat them. What state are you in? Or are you in another country?
hi Melissa, we lives in northern part of california, with a Mediterranean climate, the calm weather allows us to try all kinds of products. I am not too familiar with desert climate, but hunch is you can maybe try grow melon or dates? i hope you can have your dream garden one day!
