I think I like how the ninja turtles one is as arbitrary as you like. Lists of very specific conditions may be offensive to some, however, and they also are too many pages, but at the same time, missed a few conditions, without a doubt. Getting a condition that was just made up based on certain general categories would be better.
I think the problem with the Turtles list, wasn't that some would find options on it offensive, but that some of the options just weren't mental illnesses (if I remember right Homosexuality is on there as a mental illness. It could be argued that it should actually be sexual orientation changed, so a straight character would go gay, and a gay one straight, but it does seem pretty out of place.)
@@RPGGamer Science is never wrong, allegedly, and science proved that it was a mental illness. But then, as "science cannot prove," it is now, most definitely proven to be not a mental illness. Personally, I don't believe in mental illness; just states of mind that people may take either to rationalize or deny that which they don't understand. Insanity is just the word stuck on by people who wish to deny the fragility of their own self-perfection.
Thank you! This video is what I needed to implement a sanity system to my boardgame
I'm very glad it was useful.
Loved this one dude ! Keep up the great work !
Cheers for that, going to get back to the House Rules videos soon.
Amazing!
I got inspired for my own system, this was exactly what I was looking for
Great to hear! Thank you for the kind comment, glad it helped.
