He certainly has the potential to represent and lead the Agra Gharana in a true sense in the modern eras. A sophisticated and sooting voice, but keeping intact the typical aspects of the Agra gayiki. The nom tom was just so enthralling. Kya baat.

I would like to sincerely thank Shri Mihir Thaokore for curating, producing and presenting new and promising younger talents of Indian Classical Music on his UA-cam Channel. Since today, no physical albums (CD, Vinyl) are produced and marketed, the UA-cam is the only platform that provides the classical music of new artistes before the lovers of this kind of music. The presentation is excellent in terms of selection of artistes with the support of professional quality of video and audio.
One thing I found that most of the artistes take around 45 to 60 minutes to present a raga which is, in my opinion, is not suitable for this kind of music. Everyone knows that very few listeners of classical music take interest in this music and taking such a long duration for performing a raga may distract them and this also results into the quality of rendition of the artistes. Taking a very long duration becomes boring as well as some bols, taans become repetitive which adversely affects the quality of the performance.
I am a great lover of classical music and have a large collection of most of the artistes of older and younger generation. I think a 30 to 35 minutes duration is quite sufficient to complete a raga. I request Shri Mihir Jee to take my suggestion seriously and make a protocol on his channel that an artiste restrict himself/herself to a time limitation of maximum 35 minutes to complete one raga. It may be beneficial for the artiste and audience also. Hope, you will take my suggestion seriously. Thanks!
@@rakeshbiharilall5616 : I hv been a listener of classical music and I hv listened to raga which lasted more than an hour. Particularly the great Ustad Sharafat Hussain khan and Kishori Amonkar . So I have fixed time 1.30 min where I request one raga of around 45-50 and balance short pieces. This is the format I hv planed. I can reconsider the format but I believe and artist to sing unhurriedly with Alap, vilambit and drut would require a minimum of 40 mi
@@mihirthakore5228 Sir do you recall the duration of classical ragas on LP. It used to be around 25 minutes and all the ingredients of a raga were put in by the artistes to fulfill the requirements the raga deserved. Then came audio cassettes which consisted maximum 30 minutes for studio recordings. After that CDs came and the duration started to increase and the deterioration started in performance. The artistes tried to show their 'talents' before the gurus, experts and front- benchers, where organizers and chief gurest used to take their respective places. They used to ignore the tastes of general lovers of classical music extending the ragas to 60 plus minutes resulting in creeping of dissatisfaction and element of being bored among them.
As it is well known that classical music is losing its popularity and this type of prolonging of raga by repetition of same phrases without any palatable change and variation is bound to unpopularity of this music.
In view of the above, in this present age 30 to 35 minutes of duration of a raga is sufficient.
@@rakeshbiharilall5616 I completely agree with what you are saying. In today's fast-paced era, younger audiences will overlook content that is above 25-30 mins. Only students will be interested in listening to a longer detailed but repetitive rendition. But that will become boring for just listeners. You should also split the long video into parts to improve the reach.

Very good standard performance, including the nom-tom in raga Nand! It's a good practice to include the names of Gurus & Gharanas, during the self and accompanist's introduction. However, I could not find his age, on the net.
