Oh! I just praised him for his accompaniment with Pt Vinayak Torvi, which you uploaded recently, not remembering that I had heard him on your channel, 10 months ago! The format showing the bio of the artists, right at the start, is really good. Hope, you are able to do this for every video on your channel. Once again, thanks for introducing us to such young gems!
Most mellifluous singing, Siddharth! Delightful concert, exquisite accompaniment! SriLakshmi’s silent sahagaayana and expressions of delightful approval are priceless!😀. Wish you all a wonderful future. Cheers
He sings gwalior gayaki(his guru pt Vinayak torvi learned gwalior gayaki first before learning kirana from pt Bhimsenji and it's obvious from his(Siddharth) gayaki that he was either trained primarily on gwalior or he consciously chooses to sing gwalior gayaki maybe coz he likes it more), there is majority of gwalior gayaki elements than kirana in his gayaki, kirana is only minimal infact taan patterns, sargam, the way he sings drut & even vilambit(he doesn't sing like kirana elaborating each individual note but he sings notes in cluster using mend by going up and down which is typical gwalior) therefore all main parts are infact gwalior gayaki only not kirana there are only a few kirana elements maybe elongated long notes that he takes sometimes,a few kirana taan patterns here and there and that's it, it's very easy for people to confuse gwalior and kirana(especially if artist is trained on both although stylistically they are chalk and cheese but maybe people just don't get nuances and are biased towards kirana probably but to a trained ear it's obvious)
